According to the dev stream the Challenger 2 will be getting air target tracking along with several other high tier MBTs
I’m unsure how useful it will be for the Challenger 2s, but the Challenger 3 TD has a timed fuse shell so it could be decent for shooting helis

I really don’t want tank target tracking, air is fine as its niche, but tank target tracking (excluding ground radars) removes all skill from the game

Whats wierd. despite the CR3TD being the only one with an appropriate shell. I dont think it gets it. Unless ive missed something

The 3TD, as Morvran said,is the only one which has a proper shell to use it with. The target tracking gives your HE-TF essentially a proxy fuse as it perfectly sets the fuse for you.
I’ll have a look over the 3TDs sights and see if I can find any info about them having air target tracking.
So? Isn’t that the entire hunter killer system?

As far as I know the Challenger 2 LEP and 3 use the Thales Orion commander sight (same as the AJAX), which in several sources including the European Military Defence magazine 2020 states it has automatic target tracking
I think theres a decent chance the 3TD could get it
