To be honest the challengers are doing pretty well for me nowadays but it might be just me.
If your able to enjoy the Challengers 2 then you are stronger willed then I am.
They’re fine, just average, but they have the potential to be so much better
I dont touch them anymore, i went into a game the other day as i wanted to play my TES. I got to a hull down position and the first round that hit me was from a t90m i had just non penned his mantlet just for his round to crumple my forehead and kill all my turret crew… i shortly left that game and went back to my 10.3 lineup, just for me to get shot by an object 292 through the turret cheek… can they just leave my brs alone :( i want to have fun gaijin and not be overwhelmed by the sweatiest russian teams coming for my Churchill avre, i bet the cretins arent even going to play it but sell it… BLASPHEMY.

I’d rather play the leclerc’s now, cba with the half ass’d challengers, if I’m going to have worthless armour I’d rather have an autoloader and better mobility
I almost have the entire french tree grinded, and the day youll find me playing the leclerc is the day im long dead. i cant bring myself to look upn the abominations… its a shame the french went from such a beauty (amx30 brenus my darling) to the creature you call the leclerc lol. ill stick with my type 90/10s thankyou very much. im also almost at the arietes so i can soon know the only tank in the game worse than the challengers lol. i just hope their at least a tad bit faster due to being lighter, im hoping more like the challenger 1s.

ill take my 4 with worse/better round depending on if your int he type 90 or type 10. i just pepper everything to death, all while “tanking” hits (the rounds are just gliding through without hitting anything).
What im truly looking forward to is the vextra, that paired with my vbci is oing to be a menace in my 9.7 line up along side my amx 40 and amx 30 brenus. its a shame tho, ill have to retire my amx 10rc…

Yehh same, the amx40 is an absolute bbe, i need to grind the entire Japanese tech tree lol I’ve done US Germany, Russia, Britain, France to top tier Sweden is at 10.3 Japan is probably my next venture.
mid tier is hell (gkad i brought the heavy tank no.6), but once you get the type 90 you’ll realise a 1500hp engine on a 40 ton tank is an amazing idea.
Do we have any update on the additional of hull lower front plate spall liners for the Challenger 2/3?
We already have definitive proof they are there, I’m surpised they havent been added yet.

Honestly the sad bit about the Challenger 2 is how few you see at top tier. I see swathes of German Leopard 2s, the T-80s and 90s of Russia, Strv 122s of Sweden and Abrams of America.
Yet I barely see Challenger 2s and it’s not hard to see why. I’ve been stockgrinding the base CR2 and the 2F, and am over halfway to the TES, and fundamentally hate playing them. Russian CAS kept ruining my games by dumping Kh-38s in my face before the BR changes, and even whike that’s stopped, it still sucks to play the CR2.
Stock is an absolute pain, because your one supposed advantage (being good hulldown) doesn’t exist game thanks to the massive mantlet weakspot. You can get breeched at best, or at worst outright killed, by a single shot from what is supposedly your strongpoint, your turret, and more often than not you cannot retaliate (have fun hitting the comically small weakspots on the T series, even more so when you’re firing L23A1).

Don’t forget you can’t get to any early game positions because you are ungodly slow.
