I really hope you’re right, but haven’t you noticed that the body armor layout has changed to challenger1?
This is unrelated to the mantlet but is there a reason why the mounting plate for the LFP era is structural steel?
Does Gaijin have any evidence for this or just an assumption?
Well, no. The green weakspot should not exist, as inside the rotor trunnion pins should be placed, and the 2 green rectangles is where the pins lock go, so it would fill the holes, evening the armour.

Good point too! Here, I was making reference strictly to the armor; but, as you said, those holes would be filled with the actual axis piece, so they wouldn’t even be really hollow. It is important to remark this.
Issue is, Gaijin doesn’t seem to model the trunnion axis’ for the most part, so it will be up to them.

Yeah that isn’t getting forwarded, there is zero explanation where that hole is and how the attached picture shows there is no hole.

This is also not getting forwarded, I would suggest either working with community members like @Fireball_2020 @DevilO6 and others to work up on what the issue is, clearly explained and then clearly shown to be wrong against the needed source materials.
Single liners with one picture attached will just be shut down by the developers.

I will also remind folk that the model is work in progress, so while reports are welcome it is to my knowledge not yet final.
