Ackshually the LEP turret was completely Made by rheinmetall and BAE had to give permissions to let rheinmetall use their Hull aswell as provide with parts in case they broke stuff hence they unified a company into RBSL wich was in order to sell their product as 1 company and both could get revenue out of it but only sights and other stuff like the tea kettle was kept the turret had to be Made from zero, but based in the normal Challenger 2 design. The exact motive for the creation of RBSL was because BAE sold 55% of share to Rheinmetall in order to create joint projects like the LEP

im curious how long is L28A1 and how much pen does it have?
I thought it was the same length as L27A1 but fired at a higher velocity (so in the Gaijin calculator might net a slightly better pen)
But I could be totally wrong. So dont quote me on that
will search some of it, i suspect it might be a different alloy too
edit: got a pic of it from the old forums:
the guy got 610 mm in lenght aproximately wich would be right considering its like 605 mm in lenght, also it seems to be just a tungsten alloy version
L27A1 is Depleted Uranium
L28A1 is a Tungsten Alloy

so based on the fact it uses tungsten alloy if you have info on the speed that means penetration should’ve increased over DU technically, depends on speed and density of the tungsten too
