Challenger 2 MBT - Technical data and Discussion (Part 1)

Prototype would have L26 as top round and Oman is a mix of Cr1 Cr2 and Cr2E

Mix of CR1?

It is a Cr1 with Cr2 turret and Cr2E radiator and crew ventilation

Only have L26……which means 10.7-11.0. Perfect!

Lower hull ke? How about this one

Thats a 3TD from 2021. Same hull as Cr2, as it is just a 2019 LEP

I mean has anyone submitted this this tank? It looks like her hull is thicker.

It is not thiccer, it just has a 50mm plate on the ufp, the same one you can find on the 2F late/TES/OES. And suggesting, Nope no one bothered, it would be the 3TF we have but with the plate on the ufp and mockup of APS that would do nothing but making you a bigger target

I thought 2F in wt only add 25mm

Maybe we can add this plate for 3TD?

Thats 2F early, it has a 2f modification that turns into 2F late

We are at the mercy of the snail, as it was reported

which could be a steel demo round

Do we have it in WT?

Could be, but it’s being shown off to Ukrainian trainees to familiarise them with what rounds they’ll be slinging in to the breech in training and in combat, and how to know it’s nature by sight, and touch
There’s no benefit mugging them off with a facsimile that bears no resemblance to the real deal.

Ed:- indeed it is the inert/drill handling round

and would only have L23 with the better charge and L28

do you have the 2F late picture?

image 2F Late
image 2F Early

I don’t know this kinda says otherwise

Its literally a page down from what @G2_Alem4o was looking at.
