Challenger 130mm Testbed does not belong to Germany

no, it belongs to the United Kingdom

rheinmetall was one of the companies the pitched for the challenger 3 programe.

and i still dont know maybe you can present sources like the name of the tank for example.

Developed by germany, built in germany, tested in germany, advertised to germany.

The 130mm configuration never even touched british soil lol.

Greece put a 105mm cannon on a leopard 2a5. It is completly unique and a greek developed tank in my opinion.

Are you aaying that is completly german?

That has nothing to do with it

Yes, they then made the rbsl compsny with UK to develop the chally 3.
The challenger 2 lep was shown of as a rbsl tank with 130mm round (no cannon).
Half a year later rheinmetall made the 130mm testbed as a rheinmetall project, uk was not the client

dveloped by the uk, built in the uk, fielded in combat scenarios by the uk, altered in germany by a private company trying to pitch an idea for the challenger 3.

+1 for China or Sweden

The very article you like to post says that the 130mm was approved by the UK client

We were paying for the tank

Official interview that states its made for germany

germany with their own leopards using overseas british tank, do you realise how stupid that sounds?

“it seems like our challenger 130mm has broken down, what do we do?”

“order parts from britain, or wait, i have a better idea build super complex factories so we can have more challenger parts for our oversea challenger tank”

“but sir wouldnt that be a massive stupidity from a logistical side?”

“i dont care”

U allowed rheinmetall to use it yes.

But that doesnt mean u paid for it

rly so who is the client???

tell us all whos gona buy a challenger 2 with an 130mm gun

You see how that is talking about the MGCS and not the Challenger 130mm

We were paying the crew and maintence for the tank that the UK owns

This is about the gun not the tank

The tank is obviously going to marketed for the UK and not Germany can you really be that slow 💀💀

Its a demonstrator to show of the gun.
Thwy only used a challengwr because your tank is fatter and its easier to test lol.
Its officialy stated in the test.

Rheinmetall was just being lazy

Again why is it rheinmetall project and not rbsl if its advertised to uk

Yes made for germany to show of the gun and its functionality and prove of concept.

Its purely a gun demonstrator, always was.

Yeah, still advertised to germany as the main goal.
I am only quoting the project lead
