Challenger 130mm Testbed does not belong to Germany

Oi, mate, you never seriously noticed? /j

Ram II need to be american vehicle because the chassis was based on of M3 Grant tank which is american tank.
Class 3(P) need to be german vehicle because a German company developed it, even though it is South African vehicle
C2A1 MEXAS need to be a German vehicle because Rheinmetall developed it, even though it is a Canadian vehicle
Leopard2 A4M CAN need to be a German vehicle and need to be painted with a German anime-ish Girl because Rheinmetall developed it, even though it is a Canadian vehicle

because Canada is not officialy being sub-tree of the UK, so it is Gaijin’s right to rip those vehicles left and right, whatever they want.

M1A1 AIM need to be american vehicle because General Dynamics sold it, even though it is Aussie vehicle.

Just like how T14, M22, T18E2 or P-51 Mustang need to be american vehicle because American companies or Arsenal developed it. (We still don’t have any kind of Merlin variant of Mustang)

So, Vicker MBT Mk.7 need to be german tank because the project is based on the Leopard hull, and British Army never used it. British just did nothing but shove a silly universal turret on the Leopard.
And Chally 2 130mm needs to be a German tank because the project is based on german 130mm gun plan, and the British Army never used it. British just did nothing but loan silly chally 2 chassis.

it is not double standard, it is how War Thunder literally works’ /s

British are not allowed to get any vehicles in any circumstances because ‘copy paste is bad, and stealing vehicles is not good for game health.’

Well, when we fought for our own vehicles, all we heard was
-it is german based project
-it is american bulit vehicle
-UK don’t need any more extra russian copy paste slop from India, so Su-30MKI need to be russian vehicle.
-Copy-paste is bad, so no. If you get Shermans and such, who would play American Tree?

I don’t think this is our problem.

or maybe because South Africa rejected the Class 3 in favor of Rookait, therefore it falls within the vehicles tested and not entered into service
(but then you have the sweden t-80U, so who know what gaijin thinks)

Maybe “anti-playerbase” /j
Demagogue between players and make everyone fight each other.

Germany, the well-known island nation which once owned a quarter of the world, founded and governed numerous modern nations, and produced the Challenger 2 MBT 💯💯💯

Here is your ideal leopard with famous T-Rex claw

We have Helgoland, Sylt (+some other islands) and did have parts of europe once, does that count?

Points to this very thread

DDR Cuba subtree via Ernst-Thälmann-Insel?

I’m all for it, the DDR is a great opportunity for Germany to field the eastern equipment it historically used.

Germany is evidently entitled to use equipment from;

  1. German Empire
  2. Weimar Republic
  3. Nazi Germany
  4. East Germany
  5. Federal Republic of Germany

And that’s even before Switzerland and the growth options Austria and Argentina are considered. Fantastic selection, and most of those eras are not fully exploited in the slightest.

So given that there is also a funny-big-gun Leopard 2 140 mm that could be added, perhaps the British could be allowed to retain the CR2 130.

Nah, it drove in Unterlüß for cool video. Sorry :(

Jokes aside, I think in this case either nation has equal rights to the vehicle, slight tendency being towards germany as Rheinmetall Waffe Munition (not RBSL) was who modified it to house the (also german developed) 130 mm gun and autoloading equipment, then trialed it at their own test-site/firing range in Unterlüß, germany.
Not saying the UK tree has no rights to get it, but acting as if germany has less relation to it seems like a bit of stretch.

Both development by German before their official subtree (south Africa) and Canada still doesn’t have one

They have no subtree officially so it went in Germany

Too bad they refuse to add ddr vehicles

I think you’d realize 90% of German mains would agree it should go to both lmao

Class 3 is not developed by Germany. Well, not entierly.
Class 3 is South African development Based on TH 800, it is not the same vehicle, just like Class 1 is developed by South Africa from TH 400.

Its the German th800… Literally a German development with the needs specified by south africa. Its the same reason Germany got the tams lmao

Well that’s literally a th400 with a new turret to fit the 76mm

Class 1 and Class 3 are different vehicles than TH 400 and TH 800 respectively.

Yes, both Class 1 and Class 3 are based on TH 400 and TH 800 but they’re not the same vehicles.
Hence why gaijins ingame name including both “Class 3 (P)” and “TH 800” at once makes ± 0 sense…

Again that’s why I put with the needs of south Africa of the time it’s the th800 with the required modifications for their trial
