Last time someone took the time to check which were the most played game modes(in 2021) Ground AB was the most played game mode followed by Air AB, so I don’t know where you got that idea from.

How popular are the various modes?

Also, we could talk about those challenges that include killing tanks with certain bombs or certain rockets that have Ground AB as an available game mode, since you cannot choose your own planes as CAS in Ground AB it’s basically the same as saying that you cannot do them in that mode. I mean it’s possible but you would probably win the lottery first. Yet, you can do those in Ground RB.

I’m not going to force myself to play arcade when this mode sucks, it’s a paid part of the game so you don’t have to be forced to play a specific game mode, I don’t have a line up arcade and I’m not going to spend lions unnecessarily on that, no games with battle pass force players to play a mode that they don’t play and which is not attractive,

I do agree with you, I also pay for my Battle Pass and I want to do it all on the game mode I play which is Ground AB, but not all challenges are possible there. So I focus on the challenges I can do in the game mode I like to play and ignore the rest, problem solved.

war thunder wants to be realistic and not arcade so stop set full arcade challenges

I hope you’re not one of those that puts the slider for “My Engine Volume” at minimum and “Other Player’s Engine Volume” at maximum, if you want to keep it realistic… 😉

lol it’s no use since the sound environment is completely bugged (infinite bomb whistle, electric tank, no sound zone for 4-8 hours opposite your camera)

I use https://wt.controlnet.space/ and you will see RB are more popular than AB or SB (and from far away thousands of battles apart) so either your guy’s data was already wrong in 2021 or wrong or the trend is very largely reversed, but I will lean towards the wrong because many new players arrived during the 2021 confinement and started in arcade then left in RB

I just checked real data from NOW, and atm, air RB is in a small lead.
AB 200 matches in 10 min.
RB 200 matches in 8 min.

Not a big difference, but this is the time of the week, where the more mature players are online too.

This fucking shit right here! I don’t mind having to play a few games of something I wouldn’t otherwise play as a challenge. But having to play tons and tons of games to even get a chance at doing something because it’s limited by map/gamemode rather than vehicle types and armament is just fucking retarded.

Me and a buddy tried to do it last time it came around and combined we played about 50 games had less than 5 of them being possible to even capture anything and one was an air domination…

While sounding cynical, have you tried to (over)load your lineup with bombers? Whenever I do that, I get thrown into doms.

I wish you were right. But unfortunately, you get way more domination than that. Quick estimate is 33% to 50%.

You seem really dead set on letting some kind of numerical % value mask the fact that it takes all day to do. I’m sure people have been queueing trying to get enough domination matches for multiple days if they don’t have a full day of play time dedicated to it.
