So I just got the BOL pods on the JAS39 HU C, tried putting them in a load out, went into a test flight and all they did was give me 4 whole flares instead of the intended 320 I was supposed to get, i said that it might’ve been a problem with test flight, loaded into a match, pods are equipped, NO EXTRA CHAFF NOR FLARES. I don’t know if by unlocking the 9M and the 120’s to put under the BOL pods makes them work, but still, I have them equipped so why can’t I use them? Gaijin please fix🙏

This bug exists on the AJ37 and the Sports Gripen. Though i actually can’t fix the Gripen. Ive deleted the loadouts and done everything. Cant spawn in without the CM pods not working

Spaded lmao. Only vehicle not spaded is the C. Im waiting for something to get the Spade research on. So maybe like 6 years i might get something? Guess the C will be outclassed by then.
When they add the Gripen NG that just adds a few more hardpoints you can use the spade bonus for that :P
But wierd. Typically the cause is either some wierd issue caused by not having all the associated mods or can be fixed by deleting and remaking the custom loadout. I’ve been lucky and yet to have any issues with BOL or BOZ or TERMA on the various aircraft in the British TT with them but I know others have .
Honestly i hope they skip the NG, knowing gaijin without EWS having the same engine and pylons as the C will put it at massive disadvantages. We already see the Gripens losing out with the current climb and payload meta. Realistically if we get more decompression it might be worth it but id Honestly rather they skip itm gainin is way too likely to place it at the same BF as stuff like the late F15’s and EFT’s. Realistically its just better for gaijin to continue upgrading the Current C to the MS20 Model since gaijin seems to be doing that to all gripens even if they never bought the MS20
Also yeah Gripen NG is just a C with the Gripen E MS21 Upgrades. It just didn’t receive the larger body so no engine or hardpoint upgrades. So imo unfortunately it’ll be DOA with the current way Gaijin does BR’s.
Yeah, Definetly needs to be the next addition. Maybe even just straight to the Griepn E minus IRIS-T
Then sweden air is dead lmao. Gaijin has to be careful. Why bother grinding their air tree if the E is here? Literally nothing left so no reason to play. Especially when im curious as to whether Brazils gripen E will be given to the US or Italy.
Again gaijin could fix their BR’s and make adding Gripens actually worth while or go ahead and end the TT with a gimped Gripen E.

No such thing its MS21 rn and nothing else, we also have more than enough fake jets on sweden with gaijin inability to spend 10 minutes actually reading reports.
Its why the Gripen C is in such a poor state
Realistically if we had not had the C and A added at the same time and had gaijin bothered to check that there was such a thing as MS maybe theyd be better.
Just loadout differences mostly is what Im thinking.
But yeah, Gripen is in a poor state. Been practicing in ARB a bit recently and my god, its not competitive at the moment. Every kill was either because the enemy wasnt paying attention or I had to work like hell for it
Cant wait for the SAAF Gripen to get more MS20 features and to further inundate sweden lmao. Honestly i was really hoping F18 this patch for everyone so sweden could have something competitive but meh. It is what it is. A dead end tree currently

Once we get the Typhoon FGR4, and thus the placeholder Gripen C is no longer needed. they should rework it to be as historically accurate as possible
They wont, as Smin stated without any documents stating the exact model SAAF has its gets to be MS20. Gaijin doesnt believe in the MS series.
Again we had way too many people do bug reports on a vehicle they didnt have and here we are. It doesnt help that SAAF doesnt document their stuff or the fact that MS is still classified on some of its stuff.
So great that Gaijin went ahead and just killed the only vehicle sweden air had going for it and ive tried to change it. Literally every other nation has proof of their MS series aside from SAAF. So its a lose lose
Dont even get me started on the MS21 “bug reports” for the SAAF gripen that ive had to explain to people aren’t the Gripen C and especially arent for SAAF.
All Gripens aside from the SAAF gripen should be using this radar. As only with MS20 did gripens get the ability to use GBU-39, so again still need gaijin to fix this.
Honestly, I wouldn’t carry and BOL flares, only chaff, the large caliber CM’s are hefty enough you don’t ever have to worry of the 80 you get.
Iirc only 60 of the 80 are large the rest are small
I have the same issue and it seems unfixable no matter how often I redo the loadouts
