When I saw the Centauro II (P) was getting added, I thought it would give us a better Centauro, which is what it is IRL. But it seems like it’s worse in every single way except for mobility. You get the same reload if you have 2200 GE, except for you only get to shoot 7 times before you can’t reload anymore. You also lose one of Italy’s strengths which is the commander sight, the zoom is now 1.0x-10x which on paper is amazing! However, it’s not when there is a huge machine gun blocking your vision, so you have to use the 8x-12x which doesn’t allow for great sight FOV. Not to mention the FCS system which makes the tank useless when hit. Now, I’ve played Italy, so I know that the strategy is to not get shot, but the Centauro II (P) makes that harder to do with how tall it is. You can’t really hide it, you can get a good flank if you’re careful with your ammo count, and the optics are really annoying sometimes. On top of all of this it sits at a higher battle rating than the Centauro RGO and Centauro I 120 which don’t have the module nerf YET. To fix this, I suggest either adding to the Centauro II (non prototype) with a 3 second reload, and better gunner optics to 12.7, or making some of the FCS parts just hydraulic to improve your survivability. I have one other idea which is lowering the ready rack replenishment time that way it feels a little bit more forgiving. In it’s current state it’s just Terminator food at a higher BR. I think these changes would at least help add some uniqueness in a good way to the Centauro II (P).
forget to tell same he have an a eletronic track for programmable the he-ft who in game the serie P dont have he dont have the rozie with 16 smoke ecc.
The magazine problem is that when the autoloader runs out, the crew loads the breech directly, rather than reloading the autoloader, which then reloads the breech.
The funny thing is that the 120 L45 Oto Melara can fire all standard NATO ammunition, including the infamous DM11.
It is correct

This is what pisses me off. They clearly said recently that if a plane can launch/drop/fire a certain type of ammunition, why don’t they do the same with tanks?
Gaijin doesn’t seem to care much to change ground ammunition. They frequently copy paste munitions that nations don’t or haven’t used, most notably high tier APFSDS rounds, with M111/DM23 and M413/DM33 being the worst offenders in my opinion. It feels like a bit of a spit in the face when aircraft regularly receive munition loadout tweaks or new types of munitions.
Thank you guys for pointing this out, I forgot to include the missing DM11 round. They gave it IRST but no timed fuse shell, seems weird.
strange I wouldn’t say joke it’s more appropriate centaur 2 with programmable projectile-free lock and a L2A7HU with DM11 without electro-optic lock 🤣🤣🤣
