Centauro I 120 SQUADRON vehicle for the USSR tech tree

I dont see how thats a solid reason to, after all I am not sure if Kurganetz is a platform we know much of, all while this is rather known platform, turret is a main sourve of questions. But I guess not everyone thinks that way.

A Russian captured BTR-4K circa 2014, which later repainted, served in the Vostok Battalion.

And these two, though not Russian, but at least related.

Arjun would of been a better fit due to it being domesticly made but i guess gajin didn’t want to model a whole new tank

they do have good LT for top tier. and no they dont need someone else’s.
the sprut is effective even at 11.0 as is the 2S38.
not to forget the countless others that can be added to russia. (see my thread on what now for russian ground forces)

stuff like this:

So the same thing but with less armor and added ATGM launchers?

I mean with US probably getting a T-90 “trophy” in the future i approve of this if only as a premium meme vehicle. Just for the salt it will cause.

I believe so

We can also add Ukrainian BTR 4 to Russian tt instead of centauro as more than 22 are being used in Russian armed forces we even got special camo for it painted for vostok batalion

A TT 2S38(which is even better than the current one) is the best way to make people grind the sprut line. Spruts are good already but other Soviet/Russian lights just does a better job, even as a sniper there is the khrizantema

Discount K-17 Bumerang aka BTR-22 undergoing testing
Another wheelie boi for the Ru tree

I think this is unnecessary, Russia does not need this

Hell no

It would be very funny to have a Centauro in the tree, especially considering the fact that Sweden unfairly got a T-80-U, and an Mi-28A. Let’s not even speak of the T-90S in a techtree which it is not related to at all.

But to say that no light vehicles are left for the tree at 10.3+? A bit silly

  • BTR-90 Berezhok
  • BTR-90 Rostok
  • BTR-80 Kliver Module
  • “K-17” Bumerang BM Module
  • “K-17” Bumerang AU-220 (A wheeled 2S38)
  • Kurganets-25 Bumerang BM Module
  • BMP-T Terminator 1 & 2 (it may very well go in the light vehicle line despite its design)
  • BTR-87
  • BTR-82AT

A LARGE injustice has been done that the USSR tree not only doesn’t have any of these vehicles, but has the one, the worst, BTR-80A of all capable BTR Variants

You don’t understand the meaning of the word light tank and are listing IFVs and other such vehicles.

The BTR-82 Improved would be great, it has armor that can withstand 50caliber ammunition and has spall liners, its overall better than the orginial BTR-82 series.

gonna say it again and again in game IFVS and lights tanks fill the same role. The kurganets 25 and the Bmpt will be great vehicles that fullfill the exact same role. Russia does not neet the centauro when it has its own options and equivalents

No. The tank cannon absolutely dominates any autocannon and rockets on the higher BRs.

well then complain to russia for not developing it, fact is the role of a light tank gets fullfilled for russia by the kurganets 25 and bmpt, there is no need for light tanks with cannons, the only thing they need to do is having the scout and cas sp spawnpoint reduction. Thats the only need in game. They do not get differentiated. You have viable vehicles for that role. You have no need for a light with big cannon or are entitled to one
I will look forward to the Boxer RCT 120 and you can use your kurganets 25 or bmpt

besides that, i would argue the 2S38 and BMP 2M, clearly prove you wrong, they are highly effective even if taken uptiers. And the even stronger Kurganets 25 and BMPT would be even stronger in their roles and would do their jobs exceptionaly. Even know we see Vilkas, Freccia doing great jobs (KF41 not so much, that thing just sucks) and the coming IFVS for other countries will do an excellent job as well.
Hell a Bradley has shown greatly how it performances against a T-90M very recently
