This is a really silly reason to add to the British TT. Pakistan is also in the commonwealth however this does not mean that Britain should get Pakistan’s A-5C. That already makes more sense Centauro for Russia, which tested it on its territory.
It absolutely makes it excusable. Otherwise, it’s just a double standard (a very western mindset). Either fix the system and the old mistakes or then let’s continue with the established system. And the established system makes it possible.
This is true for the Swedish Mi-28, but definitely not for the Swedish T-80U and the British T-90S.

This is a terrible mindset that plagues certain groups of people in the world today, and as a whole, why we see no improvement in many factors of society. Whataboutism is a cancer. Instead we should go “that was bad, lets not do it again, and fix where we did bad” instead you want “ha, take that, how do you like it? You deserve this, you did it first” and its often done worse the next time for the “gottem”

First one is basically 2S38 but worse while second one is a turret module with lightweight 57mm that has worse ballistics, while its mentioned it can be used against infantry vehicles im unsure if it can use APDSFS at all or not, after all it has worse ballistics so supposedly it uses different rounds that are shorter and with less charge. It also got some Kornet ATGMs and some new unguided rockets in a top turret thingie which seems to be able to hide itself.
On this testing ground image you can see small caliber unguided missiles on BMP 3 chasee and just some another drone Russia has work on.

Very cool stuff that absolutely could replace a stupid centauro in the USSR tree.
But of course, I never advocate for advanced russian equipment…because we get the 2S38 situation everytime

Sure but I wouldnt like to see either I listed with exception being low velocity BMP 3, and other IFV platforms like T-15, BMPTs, Kurganetz, Bumerang, BTR-82/90, BMD2M/4M and just BMD series. Thats how I see USSR light tank tree future if Gaijin even cares about adding something to it instead of adding another non unique T-80/72, with no big chnages all while actual upgrades/versions are non present in the game.
