As you know, IRL, aircrafts with CCRP can have predefined target coordinates programmed into their bombing computer before (or during) flight.
This is implemented into the game for air battles, with the “switch mission bombing target” keybinding, which will cycle the CCRP target between various bombing targets (“mini bases” in RB & SB, and airfields in SB).

However ground battles, which in fact do have pre-known and predefined strategic targets (A & B & C capture points), do not have the coordinates of those strategic points programmed into the CCRP bombing computer of aircrafts.
So I suggest the devs edit the ground maps to include predefined CCRP mission bombing target coordinates for the A & B & C capture points, just like we have for “mini bases” and airfields in air maps.
This will make it easier to point your targeting pod or TV missiles to the general battle area, or a particular capture point.
This also adds to the realism of the game. The whole battle is being fought for the capture and control of those strategic capture points that are already known and defined before the start of the battle, so the coordinates of those strategic points would obviously be programmed into the bombing computer of aircrafts.
I had made a suggestion for that in the past, on the old forums.
I think this is a simpler one that has a higher chance of getting implemented.
Plus it’s a bit more realistic (some of the older planes probably can’t program new targets in-flight).
You can manually choose a bombing target by using the “Activate target point” button.
Once you do this, the point you marked will become a target you can use it in conjunction with the CCRP.
You can do this in 3rd person, cockpit view, or TV/FLIR camera. You just have to find a capture point and press Active target point in the center of it. For 3rd person and cockpit view, the point will be wherever your crosshair is pointing when you press “active target point”. For TV/FLIR view, its essentially the same, except you can find the point with much more image clarity and accuracy.
If you press activated target point in 3rd person view, the red square will appear at the area you choose.
If you press activated target point in this view, the same red square will appear around the tank (in 3rd person) and become a bomb target. Doing it this way is much safer and more accurate.
While I appreciate you trying to help, I think you completely missed the point of the suggestion.
The point is that you shouldn’t have to manually find the capture points. It should be already programmed into the CCRP computer before flight, just like it would be IRL, and just like it is already the case in the game for Air RB/SB bomb bases.
