"CCIP\CCRP Reticle\Indicator Should Be Entirely Reworked For Guided Bombs"

CCIP\CCRP works fine on unguided bombs because the bomb free falls, not much gliding there … the computer manages to calculate the projectile path decently.

CCIP works fine in dive angles on all types of bombs.

However with guided bombs and the aircraft is level flying or climbing, oh boy! You can see all types of disasters, you don’t believe me? Take some examples gentlemen:

April 2024 GBU-24 undershoots CCIP\CCRP reticle https://youtu.be/rpEpBKWqPpw?si=8jfoLI2sb7EOXKfG

August 2024 JDAM overshoots CCIP\CCRP reticle, a pilot with some knowledge can drop it way earlier than CCIP\CCRP sight and the bomb still hit. https://youtu.be/uTYVyZDUGaY?si=8ISwR3HUxTA6pPsV

September 2024 KAB-500s, the pilot totally ignored the CCIP\CCRP sight and dropped the bomb when the plane is exactly above the target and the bomb still hilariously hit https://youtu.be/E4fqeaGNBgY?si=xXI9fgZcmJTAROug

September 2024 GBU-24 overshoots CCIP\CCRP reticle, they made GBU-24 a crazy glider since maybe couple of months but the problem is you didn’t change the CCIP\CCRP reticle of this bomb https://youtu.be/YvnQjaSx9s4?si=q9Vo8YoWYfq7wkAY

September 2024 GBU-8 overshoots CCIP\CCRP reticle https://youtu.be/83nVYvxw0iA?si=CTvMnTcUW1juwUI_

The bombs are fine, or at least the physics and dynamics are not my topic here, the CCIP\CCRP is not fine, it is primitive, it is full of flaws, and it doesn’t reflect what these guided bombs can and can’t do.

In my opinion each single type of guided bombs should have its own sight and parameters so the player can use them correctly and not get misled by the generic CCIP sight from 2009 IL-2 Sturmovik: Birds of Prey.

They already did a fine job with missiles from 3rd person view and from TGP view, like the max\min ranges and targeting window\field of view, they should do similar system for each single guided bomb in the game.

If someone plays simulations and tries to destroy airfields, bases or ground targets from a high altitude, 5000 meters or higher, they have probably also noticed another problem with the CCRP indicator.
For example in the A-10A, A-10C the indicator on the HUD often flashes or disappears when we are over the target, or the vertical line that shows us the direction in which the target is located starts to tilt strongly to the sides if our plane is just above the target.
