CAS timer/limit

There needs to be a spawn timer for CAS. You shouldn’t be able to spawn a Mi28 not even 4 minutes into the game and get almost a full team wipe in under 6 minutes of gameplay. CAS shouldn’t be able to spawn until after 10 minutes of gameplay. Or something else to do is decrease SP required as time goes on. That way only people TRULY steam rolling can spawn cas and not someone with like 2 kills, a cap, and 1 death.

There should also be only 1 CAS spawn per person. Shouldn’t be able to team wipe with a Mi-28 and then spawn a SU 30 to keep team wiping after being shot down.

But again, someone shouldn’t be able to spawn a Mi-28 with full LMURs and get almost a full team wipe (my team had 15 people, of which like 6 left after 1 or 2 spawns) in under 6 minutes of gameplay and then follow it up with a SU30.

Awful to play against and awful to play with. It sucks having one person steam roll the entire enemy team leaving nothing for you to do.

I HATE when someone on my team gets that out, cause then the entire enemy team just goes kaboom and you get left with nothing.

Even just taking away the closest heli spawn would be a fix, not a great one, but it’s something. Those missiles have a range of like 9 miles if I remember correctly. there’s no reason for them to spwan 3 to 4 miles away.

same solution done to the plane cas, make them spawn a lot far back.

10km or 12km at least.

make them even spawn in the airfield

Sounds like a fix, really just more benefit for CAS. The Kh38MT has a launch range of 70KM. It’s lock range is 20 KM. Would just push it to the edge of most SPAAs lock range and make them even harder to hit. It also can pull over 10 G’s so people have started using it as an AAM…

(ofc one of the only SPAA in game close to the range of the Kh38MT, is Russian. Only other ones with a launch range (lock range is SIGNIFIGANTLY lower) close to that are the Type 03, and the FSAF SAMP/T, things you hardly ever see.)

i am a kh38 user and you cant lock or gnss launch more than 20km.

plus your wrong about sams, the buk is the worst out all of them, the best is the sampt / irst / maybe the nasam but i am not sure

Doesn’t matter if they are better, their lock range is significantly shorter. 20 KM is still further out than the majority of SPAAs lock range. AMRAAM-ER has a lock of 16 KM, the IRIS-T is 12 KM or 9 km (rear/front), the CAMM-ER is 16 KM, FM-3000 is 16 KM, and the Derby is 16 KM.
The FM-3000 and the Derby also have under 40 KM launch range (30 KM and 20 KM). The rest have 40 KM+ but significantly shorter lock ranges meaning you can just lose the lock before they get in range.

you can still guide your missile even at 70km shot.

Ah yes because dying to FNF spam is “lack of skill”.

Sounds like you should take your own advice, seeing how you have died 850 times in the XM1 (GM) with only 172 kills.

This is just massive skill issue. Go play Arcade if you want CAS to be on a timer.

There is nothing preventing you from spawning SPAA at the start of a match. And gaining SP for CAP is much easier. You can even camp enemy spawns with helicopters.

Top tier US SPAAs radar is 20 KM. The ones that have a much longer radar, you can just dip behind something before it gets in lock range.

I’m here to play tanks not SPAA sim. I shouldn’t have to first spawn SPAA just because GRB is FNF spam central.

at 20km you cant lock a missile like a kh38 because if you go high to get better range, you will have 6 sec to find target / launch at it / start notching / get to safe place.

so what it’s a game
