CAS problem

So this guy literally used that rocketeer to kill till he could go up to the sky
And got shot down twice (5min of life time in sk60, and he tried to hunt hs129, I guess he was taking cannons, sk60 rockets are barely useful, maybe 1 AGM? Let’s say he didn’t do that much to the ground up there)

Cold war is not top tier. Gepards, stingers, and strelas are cleaning up the sky efficiently, actually making most CAS useless

And a few still OP. Yes, Indeed, F58 and A4E.

Meanwhile CAP is also if not more useless, for there won’t be planes to shoot

Btw, about low tier heli rush: they are 290sp of nothing. Can barely see any of them.

They are not tunnelvisioned as they show how things really are in game, they are backed up by my own personal experience that can be checked by everyone and many videos/screanshoots I have provided.

We were talking about what ground unit can do about that, nothing is against that I can see the scenario from the perspective of a pilot.

Whenever I play light tanks I get CAP’d a lot, a lot of things has no armor so CAP always has foods, furthermore the engine roof of mbts doesn’t have enough armor to stop 20mm, you can harrass and immobilize them or just mark them, once killed by allies the CAP receive the kill assist again.

And as you approach, gepards m247s stingers even strelas are coming… If it’s still 7.0 7.7 ish strafe can still work, but higher br… One may even found a bmp2 looking up lol

Really, it’s not… The game has respawns for a reason and it’s not over till the fat lady sings, but with this attitude, it’ll be over when the player is bawling, which will be about 3 minutes in when they get bombed.

Gepard and Stingers are decent against planes but struggle severely against helicopters, so they can still be clubbed with near impunity.

The problem Gaijin acts like it doesnt exist. Been there for years. (No hate to gaijin tho, i feel like they are doing good with the last updates, love that, but there are some big problems which you refuse to fix, if you fixed em the user experience would be a lot better)

On the 1death leaver idk man idk how these guy can get so “sensitive” with “Ohh noo my team didnt pushed far enough i will leave” thats some pussi shi right there. We need to play like we used to do on games years ago.

dont you enjoy when you flip a losing battle and win? this generation of players just decides to surrender and go next instead of keep trying.

But yeah part of the problem is gaijin not fixing lot of the problems, games now are so fucking anti-social unlike games back then. now you just play alone, no voice chat, nothing at all, feels like playing singleplayer with Bots on most games cuz the communication is null and chat will be dead.

I hope one day we get a better experience

Indeed. The 9.x heli usually have bad handling (only 4km HOT, Low magnification Mi24, etc) so they won’t feel well when they kill, but 10.3… Some are starting to have hellfires level of atgm

Meanwhile GRB 10.3 Mig23M pulls and dies to 4 stingers due to speed bleed with A2A load and >1ma entering speed, so it’d better stay out of the 5km hemisphere at all times…

The problem against CAS in rank 1-5 rank your verhicle need secondary mg able to aim at the sky but then how many verhicles have extra mg as selfdefence against CAS or lack the damage to give CAS fatal damage and in higher rank you died by guided bomb/missiles.

I explained why CAS is problem and why people leaving battles after 1 death.

I’ve used 10x zoom on the German 8.3 and it feels more than fine against Gepards and equivalents.

5km is a bit generous.

I Agree with the point which you made about driving a slow tank into battle (especially before br 7.0) and by the time you get to the point or the fight, there are planes in the air bombing you. I would propose a solution where maybe planes cannot be used as a second spawn until a certain amount of time has elapsed in the battle. The more annoying thing which I usually face especially in the higher brs is helicopters being used for first spawn and then planes being used right after the helicopter for the second. It is clear that Cas much more powerful than the things which fight against it, but I think there are other solutions than nerfing CAS

I agree that better map design and more choice can definitely have an impact on countering camping, and I do think there is allot of room for improvement in the current map design, but I would argue that there are always going to be players who make their playstyle camping, no matter how good the map design. Its easy to stay in the same place without the worry of dying to planes, and CAS is an important part of the counter to this playstyle.

An effective camper can wreak havoc on the flank of the enemy team while remaining undetected for some time. Especially at the lower Br’s, spotting and dealing with this threat can be extremely challenging no matter how skilled you are. Even with better map design (which is unlikely) camping will still occur, just look at open world games such a DayZ to see this play out even when the map is large and well made. CAS will always be the best counter for this. I do agree that something needs to be done about CAS to Balance it out more, but I see it as a vital part of the game.

How often you see CAS searches campers?? They targeting who moves, captures points and playing active. Those who camping in cover are relatively safe.(If it’s not revengebombing)

So what you saying is not true, CAS won’t helping dealing with campers it’s actually opposite, makes everyone hide and don’t move so won’t be visible.

you can’t hide from CAS and of course they are going to go after whoever you see, but that process deals this campers as well

The idea that we need air to solve campers so we must include untouchable jets cause they might kill campers. And then become map campers killing everything with out a challege is peak air boy wants to beat up on ground unimpeded and get free kills cope

The simply fact is GAIJIN once again dropped the ball however this time its a 2 year doubling down on that mistake. The failure of the devs to actually release heavy sams anywhere near the time they released jet after jet is what has doomed ground to one death leavers that and premuim. Its entirely a problem of gaijins OWN DOING. They could’ve of very bascially not compressed air or at least not allowed in ground until they put our credible heavy sams for every nation. They have outright ignored japan israel and italy for the last few years in ground spaa systems. Deciding to leave these nations without radar save for italy they finally gave it an osa akm with radar and missles

Let us also get rid of this notion we need AIR to remove camping. No what gaijin did is simply replaced camper ground with air map campers who can kill anyone and pretty much every ground unit with immunity. That isnt a solution that isnt fixing gameplay that is destroying ground because of lot JET players want a free kill on ground players. Because they dont want to play in air rb they decide its easier to get those kills in ground
