CAS problem

When I see something flying from a Su-30/34 I either pop smoke or accept my fate and just to try to do something like shooting the enemy tank. Also, I always try to alert my teammates before I die. But usually never ragequit unless I’m being pinned down by a dumb tank that doesn’t know where to shoot.

It sounds funny to me when in December they said there’s a problem with cas, but a few months later they add su30sm.
“F**k logic, instead of a fix, we double the problem”
It doesn’t make sense somehow.

a similar situation is with helicopters equipped with long-range fast ATGMs, or “fire-and-forget” ATGMs.

It is not a skill issue as top tier aircraft don’t have a problem with any SPAA.

It is always better than giving enemy free SP

If even a pantsir doesn’t help against top tier planes when it can’t see kh38mt, then no any other spaa will help you. But no matter, that wasn’t the question. It’s clear you don’t want to answer uncomfortable questions.

If you position yourself to give free SP to the opposing team, then maybe you shouldn’t press this button at all.

There are no uncomfortable questions, things are unbalanced and lying about it won’t change a thing.

When I’m facing a tank with a tank we both have the same chances, when I’m facing an air unit with a tank, things are much different.

Why should planes be restricted from being added because of non-airmode concerns?

Air AB exists. I’m told ground-strike capability determines matches there.

ARB exists. Groundstrike capability is insignificant there due to TDM.

Air SB exists and multirole capability is very relevant to win matches there in Enduring Confrontation. Even though I’m a full-on fighter player, I WILL load bombs and ground-strike belts on my planes if the tickets are close and start CASing the NPC tank battles hoping for that sweet SL boost.

Why should Air simulator and air arcade be held back by concerns about ground realistic and ground simulator? If anything, this (people wanting to restrict aircraft due to ground) is further proof that we need a tank only mode.

Please tell me how You are going to win against a heli if You have only two rockets and he has 12 (remembering that he can destroy Your missles coming at him).

The plane could have been added without the Kh38MT. They don’t put some weapons in the air force that they own. And they couldn’t put them in here either.

You’re talking like all spaa in game are Flarakrad and all helicopters are ka52/mi28nm. If you have the brains not to aim your missile in a straight line, your missile will reach the helicopter faster than its vikhrs.

But we were talking about top tier SPAA and flarakrad is the top tier SPAA.

Doesn’t change much as it can still be intercepted or avoided using terrain. If You don’t have the brain in a heli that is a skill issue. Same thing is going to happen to adats or even ITO

That’s right, it depends on the skill of the pilot and the spaa driver. And since spaa drivers basically have no skill at all…
I’m not talking about spawn protection, which is enough to shoot down at least 3 helicopters before you’re vulnerable :D

That is why even gaijin admitted that things are shifted toward the air and when both air and ground player have the same skill they will have more chance in the air?

TO mode would solve all the issues of balance when it comes to combined mode. People wanting combined aspect of the game could be playing against each other making teams more balanced when it comes to air/ground while people who are just interested in the tank part wouldn’t have to face unbalanced gamemode. As long as there is no TO, leaving the vehicle/game after air spawns is the best they can do to have the tank aspect out of the game.

Having a viable multirole platform has, according to content-creators who focus on missile thunder gameplay, has been a massive boon to the “red team (germany, china, russia and floaters)” and has improved soviet win rates in air sim.

Tank Only mode will never appear. I doubt that Gaijin will take and destroy its concept, because of the wishes of a few dozen players. They could also put ships that could fire at tanks from the sea. As shown in the trailer.

I like how You try to donwplay the popularity of TO while all polls no matter where made showed that people would play it.

We all know that Gaijin won’t implement it only because the sales for CAS would go down
