You cannot balance being hit by Kh-38s from 15km away. Nor can you balance being blown in half by an AGM orbital strike. Or being nailed by Hammers from the other map.
The only balance will be TO mode. Sorry that it will ruin your game, but TO mode is obviously popular and it should be implemented.

Pretty hard to make counter points when the entire CAS hater argument is
“ADD TO MODE CUZ I WANT IT!!!1!!!”
So the Argument for TO mode: Players want to add a mode where there is no CAS as many find it unbalanced. This doesn’t destroy or get rid of the previous game mode and only adds another option to the player. SPAA and CAS/CAP will still have a place in the combined arms game mode.
I also think Players overall will be less hostile to each other as they’re not forced to be together. (TO players and Combined Players)
As a player opposed to the implementation of TO mode, What are your reasons for this?

Issues from the player’s perspective:
Gajin will have to devoat even more time and effort to balancing TO (and Gajin is already extremely slow when it comes to balancing and fixes).
Due to the reason mentioned above, CAS balance will get even worse.
Nations with bad tank lineups e.g Italy will have nothing to fill gaps, resulting in lineups of 2 or 3 tanks, whilst other nations could have 5 or more for a given BR.
Kinda ties into the first reason, but TO will lack the tools to get rid of campers, spawn campers, and heavy tanks (namely Tiger 2H and similar tanks).
TO does not solve any balance issues. CAS haters love to spam TO bs, which makes any discussion of actual CAS balance near impossible.
TO obviously isn’t going to be added. Unlike other features (e.g missiles) which Gajin said won’t be added, there’s no money in it, and so TO suggestions are just a waste of everybody’s time.
Issues from Gajin’s perspective:

WT works on a P4C model. Pay for convenience. If TO mode is actually as good as ppl say, then the few who play it won’t be spending money, cause the grind will be easy. Not to mention, the grind will be extra shortened cuz no SPAA or planes required for grinding.
Gajin also makes a lot of money off of CAS premiums (especially A-10A and Su-25), at all BRs, which they would no longer make.
TO would cost time and money (more than basement dwelling cas haters think) and again, there’s no profit in it.

Yeah that is an issue, but pro CAS arguments aren’t much better.
I’ve said it before, and I’ll say it again. Find a way to balance CAS before removing it entirely and making certain aircraft much less relevant. First prove that it is unbalancable, and then we can talk about removing it.
@tensilaspider Increasing queue times and splitting the playerbase more isn’t that good of an idea when there are solutions that don’t involve that.
It also makes an entire class of vehicle mostly irrelevant, while also making a not small amount of planes much worse overall.

The issue is CAS haters stop CAS from being nerfed since they flood the forums with legitimately insane ideas. Any good balance ideas is drowned out in the idiocracy.

Because Tanks Only mode is a ridiculous idea. Meanwhile the only justification for “muh CAS” is: Pay to Win, “muh wealism”, and the fact that when TO mode is implemented, CAS players won’t be able to bully people.
