Just don’t get spotted by CAS

The thing is , most of the time you won’t be able to tell a CAS have spotted you or not , game sense doesn’t apply to what can see the whole map and always spotted you first

Just spawn in SPAA

The problem with SPAA is their rewards are bad and their gameplay is kinda mid. But the most important thing is you won’t be able to do what actual tank can do, the amount of stuff you can contribute to the game is extremely limited. And given people wouldn’t spawn in SPAA first , mostly after they have been killed by CAS. It still doesn’t change the fact that average tank not gonna do anything against CAS. Just because one person can deal with them good doesn’t change anything to the bigger picture

Just spot CAS first and dodge.

It really doesn’t work , considering playing ground expect you to care about your surrounding first before looking at the sky. And the higher you go , the less chance of spotting stuff but if you really think spotting the CAS first and dodge will solve the problem then it won’t. You gonna get bombed/rocket/cannon and get your tank immobilize or out right dead. It still not changing the fact that you can’t do anything beside “just spot them first and dodge lol”. That is not a counterplay

I don’t know why we got people using these dogwater reason in here but if you can’t offer anything to make CAS look worse then might not. Not even talking about personal experience. It just bad reasoning all around

If u j out and not give enemy points, thats a valit strat for me. Same gies for purposily kilming squad mades when they cal for it to not give enemy points.

But second mechanic got removed as thst is now under penalty, while j out is not. And if we talk about fairplay …gaijin even sells stuff that is purposely not fair… so… whats the point? Just because anyone could buy it and only play that nation then it fair? xD or the MM and hownit works is fair? Hell no! xD

A mechanic knoes by the devs and active since years is a valit machanic anyone can use. If they wouldnt wamt it, they would change it.

It is NOT a valid game play tactic… it is a exploit, in other words taking advantage of a game play feature… it is against fairplay…

It is also a griefing tactic… griefing refers to the act of deliberately disrupting or ruining other players’ experience in a game. It involves intentionally causing annoyance, frustration, or negative impacts on gameplay.

And so forth it is against the rules of fairplay… as I have mentioned before, Staff have noted it being a exploit… players have been banned by Admins or Developers for exploiting it with either temporary or permanently depending on severity…

so… if some value their accounts, then it should not be exploited… if someone reports it, then you have no one else but your self to blame for any consequences

Is it applicable if, in a hypothetical case, you shoot at an enemy (with a plane being A2G or whatever type of munition) that was previously damaged (by an ally) and they J out,? Giving the kill to the ally? Just curious.

Issue is that although you might not like getting killed by CAS and you J out (which is childish behaviour at its peak) you could also do so when you know you’ll get shot by a tank or when you’re surrounded by them. Now, it’s frustrating to work for a kill just for the enemy to say ’ hell nah, you ain’t getting it’ and they leave the tank. Also, come on, we all know that it isn’'t because it’s a way to ‘support and increase your winning conditions’ that’s just an excuse to hide the frustration one gets when they’re about to be killed be it by CAS or a ground vehicle.
I must say though that the crew shouldn’t be accounted for the J-out, as they technically escaped before dying.

Then they in a wrong game then. Again, this is a combined battles as advertised. Gaijin already gave an answer to TO which they said it doesn’t make sense to add another ground mode. Just learn to play the game by design. Your pretty much hard demanding something Gaijin already said made no sense to do. Karen behavior.

WW II sppa are at huge disadvantage against CAS.

Especially when uptiered - which happens 75% of the time.

Correctly as ? You do know that ww2 SPAA require a large amount to be effective right ? Assuming the SPAA player skill and CAS skill are equal. CAS will always have the upper hand

CAS supporters just love to pull this card out. It’s totally biased and does not reflect the conditions on the battlefield.

There are still big gaps in some countries tech trees, and the US especially suffers with it’s spaa - the m42 with it’s 120 rpm has a terrible time trying to track CAS and it’s turret rotation is totally inadequate for the role. It’s better off used as a light tank than spaa.

Next in line is the Skink - which might seem great with 4 guns, but it’s lack of range and relatively poor turret rotation rate make it kinda meh. And the thing is helpless when confronted by any non-spaa vehicles.

It’s how gaijin has set up the mode - it totally favors CAS. It’s not even close.

Again, everything that happens depends on the player.

I never claimed myself as a CAS supporter or a TO Supporter.

If I were you, I’d stick with the T77E1 instead of the M19 and M42 or the Skinks. It does a better job against CAS than those. Just because the T77E1 is at a lower Br doesn’t mean they are not good at 6.0 battles.

Don’t blame the tool, blame the skills and work on them to be better.

I would like to disagree. Heavily, like I said. Your personal experience doesn’t prove anything , especially the power of CAS has already proven. You can control some of the elements in a battle but saying “everything” is outright wrong. The game literally thrive partly because of RNG and it nature of randomness. That why 10 matches in a row would never go the game, they will always have slight alteration between them.

With that being said. There are a lot of problem when it come to CAS and SPAA. Especially SPAA role in a match. CAS power against ground vehicle , that a no debate. They are definitely stronger and always have the upper hand. It is come down to the pilots will they be able to do what they set out to do.

Funny how you said “don’t blame the tool”. No I am blaming the tool, why my man showing footage as if I didn’t say that “Your experience” doesn’t speak for the whole picture. That why people rarely bring out other people stats when they talking to each other.

Please don’t send me 17 mins of actual slop just to prove that “SPAA are not weak” , no they are inferior. You killed some idiots flying straight and not scouting for that one SPAA that sitting at one place waiting for them to take them down doesn’t prove anything.

SPAA doesn’t offer as much gameplay when it come to TankvsTank (Some doesn’t even have the ability to do so) and their rewards are just bad. There is counterplay to CAS but it is so goddamn mid that barely anyone want to spawn in an SPAA , especially considering if their team is losing

Not to mention the higher you go the worse the situation between CAS vs SPAA is. Im speaking for all rank and br but with the amount of posts that people with working braincell , asking for something to be done about the situation with CAS should have proven something to you.

We are not saying that there is no counterplay and SPAA are powerless. It just the core gameplay of SPAA and what they offer is so ineffective along with their reward make them not worth spawning in

The whole problem is in the imbalance of the Soviet nation. This nation, which somewhere around BR 8.0 begins to strongly dominate other nations in ground battles.

I doubt we would seem much of a player change overall but a TO would “split the vote” so to speak. At least for awhile, IMO.

There are going to be those who go into TO and perhaps realize that they miss the unpredictability of CAS thus going back into Combined Arms, whereas there may be some bleed from CA to To because those who now like CAS want to play in TO so they do not have to worry about CAS for a few rounds.

We see this kind of bleed in the lower tiers when very highly ranked (75-100) drop down to low BR’s to play. Do I like that at my level now? No. Do I complain? Yes, privately. Yet as I get better I learn to fight them better.

Personally, when CAS works for me I like it, but when I am holding a position and even taking a lot of attention from the main thrust, then get bombed to smithereens by a guy whom I killed on the ground (revenge CAS), I get peeved.

Yet…That being said, I would like a choice of gamestyle as opposed to being forced into CAS games every match.

I have to disagree. Multiple times I have been holding a flank or a position that either bleeds oppo from the objective or off of a cap. It have been successful in stopping or blunting the advance, thus allowing my team to exploit a weakened enemy by taking a cap or though oppo attrition that results from having multiple threat vectors to deal with.

Then someone jumps in a plane and bombs me to smithereens, thus relieving that flank pressure or allowing the oppo to take the cap.

In more than one case that bombing of my position has had a direct effect on the outcome of the match.

I have offered a solution yet you have ignored it. So far your behavior exhibits that of a person who really does not wish a solution that would be beneficial to all, but a solution that offers you the greatest satisfaction even if that solution detracts from the gameplay of many, many others.

Yes, you are able to put forth your opinion and I value that free exchange of ideas. Note that I have not made any comments that directly attack your opinion that others should learn how to deal with CAS, as I think it has merit because as the game is now we have to learn or…leave, which many of us are also unwilling to do. Yes, we have to suck it up!

I am not attacking your stance that we learn to live with it, I am attacking how you state your opinion. It is nothing personal, I just think that when we discuss things like a fundamental chanage in how a game like this is presented by the devs, we should not only offer solutions but be open-minded enough to listen to the other side. Honestly, I do not believe you are doing that. Conversely, perhaps I am guitly of the same thing? I am open to that idea…I am not perfect.

And no, I do not like losing, especially to CAS. If you bomb the crap out of me in the game I will curse you long and loud. I will complain about it to anyone who will listen.

Then I will try to hunt you down and kill you for being able to play the game better than I because you use all the elements of the game available to you and I prefer not to.

Maybe it is personal in the moment but…I will get over it and go sim race if I get too mad.

My experience doesn’t matter, but everyone else’s does somehow, my test results doesn’t matter, my knowledge I’m trying to share on how to use SPAA properly doesn’t matter. Good to know people refuse to learn. If I can do this, anyone can. Just takes time to get that experience and get used to. If one refuse to do so, not the game’s fault.

Others: Doesn’t proof anything cuz your experience doesn’t matter, mine does
