I did not say I wanted all maps to be like Vietnam. Also you took my idea and only looked at the bad sides.

And that’s problem for game. CAS has huge advantage and ground players don’t even get warned to hide (fighting back is impossible)
CAS outranges you, can easily hide from your radar (just fly low) and if you launch missiles, all it takes to avoid is - do few maneuvers. Can see ground targets from 15-20 km away and send deadly missile, while no AA can reach it. I don’t understand what you mean when you say “good SPAA player”, there can’t be good SPAA player, only dumb CAS players who fly straight and are half blind.

If helicopter hides behind hills, it is practically impossible to destroy from ground (AAs can’t hit behind cover, tanks obviously are useless). If tanks use cover it still can be countered with other tanks, everything depends on players skills and fast reactions. That’s difference.
I mean people taking helis first spawn, i was talking about people who don’t use group vehicles in ground mode (yes i have seen many players doing it)

That’s what I’m saying, current game CAS can’t be effectively countered because AAs are too weak, too boring to play and gives too low rewards. That’s why people leave after 1 death, spawning 2nd-3rd tank is pointless, you will get missiles/bombs from sky, spawning AA doesn’t works too, yes you can shoot down 1-2 braindead CAS players but there always will be 1 skilled CAS or tanks find you and you are dead. For results you have 10min lossed match, maximum 30k sl 5k RP(with prem acc) and 3-4 death (more death means less reward) while you could just leave after 3-4 minutes, get little low rewards but less negative and frustration from gameplay.

Yes, looked bad sides because big maps like Vietnam, Fulda and others are bad maps. Nobody likes it to play and i don’t want new maps like that. But yeah, i got your point.
Repeating that it’s not an option doesn’t make it true considering it is very well and option that Gaijin for whatever cannot see. CAS players would still buy their premium planes for ground strike in combined arms and TO would probably see a rise in ground vehicle purchases

Come on ULQ man, they’re like a small indy company man, there’s no way they could flip a switch like normal players do in custom lobbies to have it be TO man. Don’t bully them man

Yeah this is why the lowest BR the laserbombers can go is like 10.3 or something, they also are usually not too hard to take down with IR SPAA either. I think early helicopters and guided weapons are harder to counter than what you see at top tier.
Yeah I’m sure you’d know a lot about CAS and SPAA considering you just leave the game instead of trying to counter it lol.
The fact people struggle with this boggles the mind even more when you consider the guy who steps in to correct the situation by spawning SPAA or whatever usually is the guy who profits the most and often CAS players will become complacent or overly ambitious when allowed to run free.
So it’s now my fault because AAs I have are being outranged by CAS. This is beyond hilarious.

The range of top tier SPAA is high enough to significantly reduce the power of CAS, if you struggle with being killed at such ranges your doing it wrong. Going to guess you probably sit in spawn staring at the plane doing it until the missile hits 20 seconds later right?

1 more thing, staying in the match usually a skill bonus if you aren’t just being farmers food and spawning MBT’s while 6 planes are overhead.
Skill Bonus Levels and RP Increase:
- Level I: 3-5 kills, 15% bonus RP.
- Level II: 6-8 kills, 50% bonus RP.
- Level III: 9+ kills, 100% bonus RP.
The battle achievements alone are often more than SL repair costs, which also are tiny as the SL rewards in GRB.
