But you said 2S6 was better than VT-1 slingers and ADATS, which isn’t the case.
Playing CAS in ground is probably the worst experience in the game unless you think spamming spacebar a bunch of times to drop bombs is the greatest high ever. It completely ruins the flow of the game and defeats the point of even having an air gamemode if people are just gonna fly around in planes all day in ground battles. At this point they should just remove air battles since it’s just the same thing as ground battles, minus the tanks.

Simple as in you reciting your internal dialogue every time you get blown up by a plane right? I mean:
Yeah dodge a Roland in your KA-50, it’s basically a game of “tell me you know little about CAS vs SPAA” without actually saying it. You don’t play CAS, you think it’s simple, you have minimal supporting simple, you feel extremely indignant it exists, basically everything except “I don’t know”.
If you don’t like it don’t play it, simple as that. You can complain all day that the game doesn’t cater to you but it’s something that’s had GRB as a combined arms mode for what? 10 years?
Then what’s the problem if you can adapt? Oh yeah I forgot it turns out leaving matches and refusing to learn doesn’t get you very many war thudner monies. If you can’t tell that’s sarcasm lol.

ka-50 has the same chance against the roland as the roland has against it and also comes with distinct advantages against the roland.
but the ka-50 isnt a jet launching F&F missiles from kilometers away and flying low and stealthy
the game didnt have AGMs with 20 km of range for 10 years, at most things that required some skill to hit targets and exposed the aircraft to at least a little bit of danger.
imagine playing CSGO with a spontaneous human combustion feature, thats what we have in war thunder, just with a sparse and underpowered counter.
why should ground players pay for the inability of their only SPAA?
this would make sense if GRB was renamed to SPAA-RB.
in what world can you say that a tank getting exploded by an AGM is fair, what counterplay is the tank supposed to do? die, get in a SPAA and just stay there for the rest of the match? every single game?

I base my answer about the VT-1, ADATS and 2S6 from topic in 2023 With the recent changes to the 2S6, it's BR needs to adjusted accordingly.

Regardless, 2S6 is meh and now with the addition of Osa, I’d say Osa is better for long ranges than 2S6.
Its also incompetent SPAA players or not enough SPAA players.
That’s problem with fact, that spaa gameplay is boring af.
I don’t even play pantsir out of boredom, and it is “best spaa in game”.

SPAA is not and will never be a legitimate counterpoint to CAS.
players dont want to play SPAA, its as simple as that.
planes simply dont belong into a ground gamemode and its physically impossible to create a balance, someone will always be sacrificed for the enjoyment of an aircraft player.

SPAA is not boring. Its quite satisfying to be honest.
If fire and forget missiles like the KH-38MT or Mavericks were removed. It would be a better place. CAS that user laser guided weapons like brimstones are not as bad. Longer guidance time from long range, and easier to kill with SPAA as they have to be close to the field.

Dudes will literally want to artificially nerf everything to the ground just to not admit, that allowing players to play tanks with OR without planes would solve everything while keeping playerbase happy
