The ability to mark on the map where they want their sniper pod(or equivalent) to automatically look on the map needs to be removed. they should have to manually operate it to look for targets. as it is it is stupidly easy for cas to get kills. all they do is fly low behind the horizon where radar can not detect them and then as soon as they fly over the horizon the press one button and they are already looking directly in the general area where it is safe for the spaa vehicles to operate and then they click one more button and they’ve launch their weapon, and then they are able to dive away before any AA missiles are able to be fired at them. rinse and repeat. They have a huge area of map to hide in where as the spaa vehicles have only very small regions where it is actually safe for them to operate. its essentially shooting fish in a barrel for top tier jets. especially for those jets with incredibly fast and long range AGMs.
dont worry. Russia is getting a second pantsir so only they can do this again
Russia singlehandedly closing the skies not once (S1 during early 4th gen era) but twice now (upcoming configuration countering GBUs/IR bombs/AGMs, etc. with a reliable AESA radar for low heights) is definitely not a sign of bias. /s
If the shoe fits...

USSR has 23 SPAAs, almost all of them easily work significantly above their BRs (because they are mostly very undertiered)
Israel has SEVEN spaas in total.
You can put Sweden and Israels SPAAs together and still have less than USSR. when they have just as many potential options than the soviets do standalone.
I do not understand how some people are so good at dying to CAS.
was playing 12.3 earlier, and excluding SPAA, there were less than 3 CAS deaths per game. Heck, i was expecting more CAS than at 10.0, yet flarakrad gameplay was still just staring at the sky hoping something will spawn simulator.
This is a very interesting take.
What makes you feel this way, have you played them and/or their contemporaries ?
Very undertiered things usually stand out as a sore thumb.
Yep they do.
BTR 152, Praga, shilkas, Tunguska and strela instantly come to mind for ones that stick out like a thumb so sore it needs amputation and incineration
Now tell me how did you notice that.
Is it their stats or your own personal opinion that made you believe something is wrong ?
What kind of SPAA do you want? laser weapon?
lol Soviets have never closed the skies on their own.
BUK closed them alongside Sky Sabre and others.
Pantsir never did, cause we found out how to defeat Pantsir on the dev server it released.
@Caernarvon02
The new Pantsir is worse than the other 12.7 SPAA systems against fixed wing CAS.
And it’s identical to the old Pantsir against helicopters.
That’s why pretty much every SAM/Radar SPAA in the game stands out.
41% of the playerbase voted against buffing SPAA so if you have any issues, take it up with them
