Essentially the screenshot below - default belts should not cost as much as ground attack ones simply because you can’t use them as effectively against ground targets. Especially that they’re the only belt you have before you research the ammo modification.

The default belt might be less effective on ground tagets but its still effective so it gets increased cost, planes like the Yak-9K make this necessary since it has APHE in its default belt

Fair, but it shouldn’t cost as much if it’s less effective. I mean, I don’t believe a default belt should cost any additional points simply because it’s a default one, but I think a fair compromise would be that a belt with every 3rd round being an AP one should cost 1/3 of the pure AP belt, one with 1 in 4 AP rounds - 1/4 of the cost and so on.
