Description: The Caproni Ca132 was an Italian twin-engine recon/light bomber of the thirties. It was developed by the Italian industry Caproni from the already existing Ca310; the main change was the installation of new engines, one of the main issues of the previous aircraft. The first prototype, a converted Ca310, made its first flight back in 1938. After the first flight tests, it was presented to the Regia Aeronautica at the Guidonia air base. Thanks to its good performances, the Regia Aeronautica ordered a total of 96 units, but later the interest was redirected to the Ca311 and 313 and the order was converted. Caproni didn’t give up and tried to export the new light bomber. The first country that showed interest was Norway, followed by Belgium. Norway ordered two modified Ca312, designated as Ca312 bis. The first two units were delivered by Caproni, and the Norwegian Air Force planned to build 13 more locally, but the occupation by the German forces in 1940 stopped this opportunity. The same happened in Belgium; an order of 24 units was placed, but the country was occupied by the Germans in 1940, and the Belgian C312 was never delivered. Instead, they were given to the Regia Aeronautica, which used the 24 units for Belgium in the African Theatre. It is unknown if any unit was still operational after the armistice or if any survived the war.

Why it should be in game: It will be an upgraded Ca310, it could be a good light bomber option foldered with it’s broter at 1.0.
