I simply am not hearing any planes in the sky until they are firing at me, they have suddenly gone stealth as opposed of being quite pronounced as they once were.Has anybody else noticed this? I’m talking GRB here

I don’t really hear helicopters like I used to anymore.

Yea, i know i used to hear them but now I suddenly just have a bomb next to me, i dont even hear a bomb whistle!!

I’d say yes but I’m deaf so it’s very hard to distinguish between War Thunder sound design shenanigans and me simply being deaf.
It’s rather annoying honestly.

personally I can’t hear anything but planes half the time
Often times I can barely hear CAS missiles coming at me until it’s 0.1 seconds away from hitting me.
That’s why they should remove CAS from ground battles, cause so much problems and it’s anti fun for ground vehicles.

A thread months back mentioned the planes not having sound, and I remember I posted on it because I too didn’t think I’d heard any for ages, and even mentioned it could be a bug, or that it was something to look into.
It then got overshadowed by the keen vision/rendering trouble, and people lumped it with that.

Well you know my thoughts on this but its a different discussion : )
I can hear the turbo props for sure and the Wythern a mile away but planes that attack are only becoming apparent when the cannon fire hits me or I’m dead. Gaijin nailed it nicely a couple of updates ago.
Thinking it must be a bug.Its a step backwards either way.I noticed it from not playing for a while.
