Good, it’s a genuinely excellent change. Bombers shouldn’t just fold in one 20mm hit and should be able to withstand battle damage. I’ve been flying some bombers recently and having to climb for 10 minutes (SB) to be taken out by what feels and looks like literally ONE 20mm round is a bit pathetic.
As you’ve said yourself bombers can still be shot down clearly. It’s a superb change, now do the same for fighters but to a lesser extent and we’re going in the right direction.

not like you have 3rd person view gunners in SB giving you the ability to outrange basically everything

I agree 100%. No plane should fold instantly.
That’s literally the whole point of this thread and why I’ve made videos showing the terrible damage models. If bombers have been reworked it gives us much more hope that fighters will as well.
I hate 360 degree bomber gunner snipers as much as everyone else but at least a fighter can evade incoming fire. Most bombers (that have actual flight models unlike the Ju288 etc) can’t and are at the moment largely defenceless RP pinatas. Try flying a Stirling like I have or anything outside of a Be-6 or Ju-288 and you’ll see how broken it is/was.

I thought to stop playing for a time if there will be situation when bombers just eat damage and destroy fighters which didn’t get new DM

You know what dev server means?
Testing things out n discussing them is to be expected.
Countless times issues like this go to the live server and take months in order to get actually fixed.
