Canada as a tech tree

So I’ve put some thought into this and personally I’d love Canada as a separate tech tree, as a Canadian and enjoyer of Canadian vehicles I really want to be able to play a full line up of Canadian equipment from the 2A6M to 2A6MC2 to even the 2A4M or LAV6, Bison, Coyote and so on. Canada has quite a few homegrown vehicles and interesting vehicles in and of it self from its IFVs to tanks that we’ve modified and upgraded. Canada could be an interesting tech tree with plenty of potential especially with some of our export vehicles such as the LAV700 and even the LAV6 upgrade demonstrator that was seen at CANSEC.
If you really wanted to you could add the CH-146 griffin modified as an attack helicopter or give Canada tigers helis like it was meant to purchase IRL. You could also use Canadian tech tree as a way to implement the F/A-18 Hornet as the CF-18 exists for Canada amongst its other historical aircraft.
Really, I just wanna be able to have a good top tier line up if all Canadian vehicles instead of having the trees vehicles all split across the different trees.

You should look the Canadian tech tree idea, a lot of people work hard to see it coming reality

It’s always nice to know there is support.

But you could also try and help out to make it a reality, by doing a few different things.

Joining the Discord server

WT CAN Research Community

Which leads to the second part, which is to help by making suggestions for Canadian vehicles. As if you working on any people in the server would help.

And last but not least:
Voting and commenting on Canadian vehicle suggestions. And you find them in the “other nations” here:

I have seen the posts about it but I still believe it should happen, it would be a more fleshed out (in my opinion) tree than Israel is which, Israel could be added as a sub tree to America if they really wanted to.
Yes top tier would just be leopards for the most part but at the end of the day half of top tier is just leopards anyways. Germany, sweden, france, Italy, etc. the Canadian leopards are unique however as they get heavily upgraded systems from the base variant including heavy add on armor like Sweden, better thermals and so on.

That’s a cool idea but I also think it could be a cool idea for it to become a sub tree for America since America already has a couple tanks made by Canada

Buddy, you dream a lot for thinking that USA will get anything from Canada in future updates

USA doesn’t need any sub tree

I’m from the future, still nooooooooooooo

Good Day,

Today I’m discussing weather Canada should have a tech tree i myself believe so. Now as we all know Canada has received a fair amount of recognition in the game from the ram all the way to the Leopard 2A4M BUT your going to put Canadian vehicles in separate trees when we have top tier air mid tier air low tier air, we realistically had from low to top tier vehicles all around so why do we not have a tech tree Canada is the 2nd largest county (landmass wise) AND is a leader in geopolitical trade and commerce id think it’d only seem fair to have a proper Canadian tech tree due to these simple statements while they even go more in depth! also just give us the tech tree already man I’ve waited years and they keep separating the Canadian vehicles from each other by throwing them in other trees are they scared it’d be to op?

Thank you, Cheers

would also be cool to see the Avro Arrow as an event vehicles or some sort it has very deeps emotional connection to Canadians that know of it and those that wont

Canada wouldn’t fit as an American sub tree it needs its own the full Canadian arsenal over time is staggering from 1914-2025 produced, rented, leased, their own and other nations kit but it doesn’t define the fact that Canada uses a wide variety of military vehicles mostly German British and American as we all know, it would be hard to pick for the start but if they wanted to its very much doable for them to have their own dignified tree as it would be the only way to fit the variety of vics the country uses

Losing the Arrow to event vehicle will be devastating.

As event vehicle are one of the worst types of unattainium in WT, with short time frame and high cost. On top of that if Canada gets a home in another tree then the one it was added in it can never join Canada (Finish KV-1B problem). Plus we’d only see one of the two variants as vehicle added as event frost almost never seen any of the other members of their family.

Plus do to it’s historical significance and importance it should be a researchable tech tree vehicle.

i disagree it was never fully put into production although multiple variants where made air worthy it had few flight never saw combat and was essentially scrapped for a sore idea at the time i saw event vehicle because they will never put it for premium it would obliterate it was ahead of its time by 15-20 years then if thrown into battle without having to work for it people tend to loose the reason they get it because they enjoy it yes it’d be a grind but so would it be in the tree i saw no tree because of the fact that it disappeared once it never stayed sadly

Canada should never be a sub tree your forgetting the reason it needs to be its own tree remember Canada is literally a powerhouse on the world stage say what is said but its true for it to be a sub tree would be “Devastating”

Whether or not it saw combat doesn’t matter. War Thunder is filled with prototype of vehicles that only a had a part finished(heck we have incomplete prototype suggestion rules do to this). And the Arrow was only scrapped do to American meddling (see the CF-101 only a few years later not even).

Besides a Canada TT become pointless without the Arrow as there is nothing to sell the air tree to the public. Simple put without the arrow as TT Canada losses up to 50% of why it should be a new TT. It is one of Canada’s largest selling points.

I’m not talking about a Canadian sub-tree, I’m literally the publisher and leader of the project that lead to the independent Canadian air tree. And deeply involved in many of the other independent tree projects.

I used the Finish KV-1B as an example as it how we learned of the rule that event vehicle can’t be copied to new tree, despite that being the new home of said nation. So it’s dubbed the “Finish KV-1B problem”.

im talking a full canadian tree brother i want air ground naval we had it all bring it back its pretty simple
and wym nothing to sell the public?! THE PUBLIC WANT A TECH TREE lol, use the canuck the voodoo the f-104 f-86s f4fs not 100% but the list goes on. and i stand by what i say Canada Should Never be a sub tree.

and your wrong the arrow was scrapped because the us didnt like Canadian advancements on air superiority yet we still helped w their production, and to say the us meddled is a understatement they sold a missle system to right to the jet, own fault but doesnt chage the fact that the arrow should be in game aswell as the tech tree its honestly not that hard ive done personal testing on my own it would work.

Right I want to too, but outside of groups like Canadians themselves, those vehicles are written off as “copy slop” and has no place in WT outside of skins on the origin nations equivalent (of License built).

To sell Canada to US, German and other mains who want the world or otherwise you need to focus on the unique and more importantly domestic stuff. You end like Israel if you let the domestic stuff become event.

this is true which is why i fail to understand alot of warthunders issues honestly just give the people the vics games can be hard as it is but i feel like dudes play to grind not to enjoy, idk its just sad to see little bits scattered like the remnants of somthing that could have been a great addition to the trees but also i agree for the domestic its special but you obviously know the Avro its came and went i know people would want it to stay researchable but if its not i feel like you get that sense of enjoyment maybe even a lil pride
