Gaijin eventually came out 25 MONTHS AGO and admitted that this was done by accident and they were going to look into reversing the nerf, which essentially dropped its pen by 61mm. It was identified in Dev server at the time and one of the technical moderators made a post on this forum stating it had slipped through and he had requested it to be corrected, but it went live anyway.
The M735 finds it’s way into vehicles, especially premium ones that people paid for, and it still sits at a sub standard level due to an error.
Why has this still not been fixed? Does it really take over two years to change a line of code that was accidentally broken?
Probably because 300mm of flat armor isn’t common at the BRs where it’s used.
It’s either <270 or >350 and there tends to be no in-between.
So the 2mm angled penetration buff that flat-pen nerf caused seems to make it low-priority.
In my opinion, I’d like it to be as accurate as possible regardless.
I honestly agree here. THE PENETRATION USED TO BE 353 mm at 0 degrees now its 291??? thats a crazy nerf i just bought the m60a1 rise (p) haven’t crewed it but seeing the whole nerf and its outrageous how germany gets earlier apfsds in the medium tank line and how the earliest you get apfsds is the t95e1 with T320 apfsds which has the same penetration as m735. and you get m48a2 ga2 with dm23 at the exact same br with a faster reload, its going to make the game unplayable
The reason something might took 20-30 years to be fixed is due to understaffed, leading to issues like overworked employees, burnout, lower productivity, increased mistakes, and difficulty meeting customer demand. In my country we call it the chinaman style company, where one employee do 3 man’s job, only complaints is human cannot work 25 hours a day and 8 days a week, as a chinaman boss like myself I only hope my workers could reduce their sleep hours from 6 to 3 bro
