Gaijin, please remove night alltogether or make it optional for enthusiasts only. I absolutely hate night battles, sometimes just drop the game at the start. I want to enjoy the game, not ruin my eyes!
It IS optional. What are you talking about? Do you have it turned on for Ground Realistic Battles? If so, just go turn it off.

There are no night battles in Air. You must be mistaking evening/morning with night. A real night battle is pure pitch black, impossible to see without night vision/thermal vision. Unless a full moon, but even then. Go into a test drive and select “Night”. THAT is a real night battle. Everything else is not “real” night.
Yeah, if there is any sunlight, or light at all that is hurting your eyes, that is not a night battle.

yeah imagine a full on night with low clouds, I can’t even see where the enemy plane’s nose is going even on the morning-evening
Night battles will be really cool especially with ground vehicle headlights now sent to the development team for consideration. Would love to have some night battles at lower BRs where Germany’s camo can be more effective lol

It was available in the past and it didn’t work as it was only a contest who will get post processing don better to be able to see in the dark.
I just LOVE inclement weather battles, especially with ground battles =D Air is a bit of a different story, the clouds being RIGHT on the ground really isn’t a fun time.
I really want a full mix of time and weather types in battles…but kids will just cry they cant see…unfortunately.

Naval battles at night are SO gorgeous with all the tracers! I miss them, I wish they would bring them back. Or at least give us an opt in option like for ground (even though ground night battles still do not happen enough, as the game refuses to wait even for a minute or two for a night battle to gather enough willing/opt’ed in players.)
