Ive definitely been noticing situations lately where I have died to someone who has come up behind me that I did not hear, that I was 100% positive I should have heard.
It definitely needs looking into

I know its tied to keen vision, But im also pretty positive that it isnt an intentional mechanic, but is infact a bug.
It makes no sense as to why they’d do that intentionally
I understand the whole keen vision mechanic, but i also can swear, since the new gun sounds dropped, they majorly fucked something up with the engine sounds or maybe fixed it, so the keen vision now actually works, i cant really tell.
My experience before was pretty normal, when i heard an enemy the sound started really silent and got louder the closer he got, so there was an actual fading in effect, depending on the distance. Now the engine sounds start abruptly, without any fade in and the enemy is much closer, hence the engine sounds start really suddenly and loud. I dont know how keen vision works with the proximity sounds, but the engine sounds now abruptly appearing and disappearing when a certain distance threshold is met, plus there is no fading in and out of the sound, really makes it look more like a bug than intended feature.
Since the last update i have sound problems in Realistik tank battles, i have a Logitech 7.1 headset and since the last update i hear the tanks engines when he stand 10m away from me,
This wasn’t the case before, only since the update. I don’t know if I’m the only one with this problem, but it’s really bad because I play a lot with the sound, and it’s really hindering my gameplay.
Please solve this problem.
