Can the M1128 get its 6s reload too now that Russian autoloaders are finally getting buffed?

The 7.5s reload it has is too long and the AGS with a similar system even gets a 5s reload.

They are aware of it but think the 7.5s reload is needed as a balancing factor because otherwise the M1128 would be too strong. They are wrong but the report got closed so you can’t voice your opinion on there.

Why not, it’s not like the Stryker is particularly overpowered right now. Soviet stuff was fine and I don’t see the reason for the buff when it was one of the advantages you exchanged for amazing trolly armor.

Its already annoying enough to face, but sure, If it’ll quieten the US mains

Shoot it with HE it’s not annoying to face

Assuming I have HE ready loaded?

How bad you should be to not kill it?)

Its a bit hard to kill it when its got only its barrel showing ya know…

So shoot the barrel then?)

WE try, but it’s a tiny target, especially when stock and you have no LRF

Sounds like skill issue.

Everything’s down to a skill issue is it not?

6s reload and then maybe up to 10.7 it goes.
It’s already pretty good at 10.3.

10.7 maybe if they increased the gun depression over the sides, fix the bouncy suspension and give it spall liners.

6s from 7.5s is a big difference to be fair.
From not being able to out-reload anything, to out-reloading most Russian and all Chinese MBTs, and non-aced leopard players.

Then don’t peek it while you don’t have HE loaded?

Stock tanks shouldn’t be part of the discussion. You compare spaded tanks to spaded tanks. Stock grind is a separate problem.

Reload isn’t everything but the 1.5s would certainly help it defend itself on city maps. A reload, gun depression and reverse speed all comparable to Russian MBTs are already a problem but they get worse when you add the turning circle and size of a bus.

Well, the reverse speed is certainly not that great for a light tank, but 12.5km/h is definitely better than Russian MBTs (especially at the 9.3-10.7 range).
The gun depression is -5 in all aspects, which is really bad I must admit.
However, they had given it suspension control in which you can effectively increase its gun depression from 5 to ~7.5 degrees (which is actually not too bad).
This also allows it to mostly keep up with some of the fastest light tanks in the game, such as the Radkampfwagen.
So if it were to have a 6.0s reload, and you can find a somewhat steep hill to camp on, it would actually be really good, especially considering it has M900, good sight, and good thermals.

Yes, that’s pretty annoying since the reverse speed somewhat makes it a necessity to be able to turn well.

It’s about the same as the T-80

No 7° are not enough to camp on hills. It’s height also doesn’t help with going hull down. The Bradley has the same issue with it being too tall to use the common hull down spots effectively even though it has the required gun depression.

The problem with the Stryker doesn’t stop there though as it can’t tilt towards the side or depress past -5° and most spots that require you to drive next to the ridge in order to get a firing solution can only be used by tanks that have -10° of depression.

On a flat road maybe. If you factor in any turns you get dusted by all other wheeled tanks.
