I still think it lacks proper missiles for 10.3. But i never said it should get a lower br. I only tried to defend it against people that haven’t even played it yet and make it look like its a godlike plane that mows entire teams and its unstoppable at 10.3, cause it’s not. Given proper usable missiles and more soonTM avionics i can see it going higher that 10.3. But given the fact that we can have more advanced versions of the F-111 I don’t think our current Advark will get any significant changes.
Right, that I somewhat agree on, 9Es probably would be fine. But AAMs are for defence not offence on the F-111, like they are on other bombers/strike aircraft/interdictors. A2A combat is a secondary role and thus should be balanced second. How it performs in ground pound is more important (and I’d worry about it vs 11.7 SPAA in GRB)

It’s Speed, Countermeasure’s, capable of carrying 6-8 IR Missiles, boatload of Gun ammo, radar, advanced system like the MAWS were the simple reason it’s a 10.3 attacker.
In an updtier it’s gonna wipe the floor with nearly everything else.

I didn’t say you shouldn’t consider weapons at all. I said you shouldn’t soley make a BR decision based off unguided bombs. In case you aren’t aware, the Tornado IDS has AIM-9Ls whereas the F-111A has AIM-9Bs. It doesn’t matter how many AIM-9Bs you can carry when they objectively suck ass. Either give the F-111A the AIM-9E or move it to 10.0.

F-86F40 268 battles and 62.3% WR 2.9 KD
Also played T-2(k) before AIM-9E update, which was far ago:
185 battles 57.3% WR 2.2KD
F-104A → 105 battles - 55.05% WR 2.2KD
F9F-8 have the problem to be asthmatic, and placed on hard BR for it’s flight capabilities,…
Still even if WR is under 50%, i have a 1.6 KD on it with an always uptiered aircraft.
F3H-2 Demon → it’s either AIM-7C which are bad radar missiles, or AIM-9B
78 battles → 69.23% Winrate

And the most recent one i played with only AIM-9B is Etendard IVM → 2.6 KD on it and 52.5 win rate.

And this, shows that i know AIM-9B far more than you do,…
Meanwhile Tornado IDS never mounted AIM-9B,… and is set at the BR of 11.0, so 2 BR steps higher than the F-111A
Also,… to me all AIM-9L whatever the aircrafts shouldn’t be under 11.3 (Tornados, A-10’s, A-6, … and their counterparts as well → R-60M or R-60MK)

Mate I can see that you are not very intelligent but cmon. How are you comparing 8.3-9.3 planes to a 10.3 plane that face 11.3 all the time. Aim-9bs are good up to a point, but after 9.3 they are not good anymore, at 11.3 every single plane can outrun and out-turn an aim-9b, and even if you manage to find a slow flying aircraft someone else with faster missiles will get it.
So, why is F104C in 9.3? Isn’t this insane? Look at its speed!

I checked your profile and saw that you have never played a 10.3 plane with aim-9b as stock missiles, let alone as the only missile choice. How can you say learn to use them if YOU have never used them in this scenario.
