The radar signal isn’t a narrow beam, its broadcast over a wider area, with a main lobe and a lot of side lobes.

After IFF filtering, any RWR’s inside those lobes will pick up the launch signal, that’s normal. You can adjust the RWR volume and/or sensitivity

Is the whole thread just a massive OneGuy’d moment? This is standard for all RWRs, and is true in real-life physics. Radar signal even in track is not just a thin laser-like line to the locked target, as some people assume.
