Can please anyone explain me this?

i was playing with my new Object 292, i was hitted by 2 APFSDS shells, one was probably not able to penetrate my front armor, but one was fired on my back, and it was almost without any damage and it little bit disappeared, and i am little bit confused if its bug or its only russian bias or its normal with Object 292 :D

btw ignore sound in background xD
and ignore my camo xD

Looks like the Sabot shattered because of how it hit the engine deck directly parallel to it

Looks like classic Stalinium to me.

Though there were rumours of invisible internal armour plates hidden in the model when it was first added

for me too, like when he hitted me, first i was thinking it was HEAT shell, since it was almost without damage, but when i looked on this i saw APFSDS and than i was curious how? how he was able to only made my engine yellow and thats all when he hitted me from back

maybe, but still i was expecting that at least rotating mechanism will be yellow and etc, but nothing

well, sabots can shatter pretty easily when they go through the armor that way, (especially early sabots) but its likely just a weird one-in-a-thousand chance shot since if they had shot a few inches lower it likely would have gone through your engine and killed you

i feel bad, that i survived that :D because since he didnt killed me, i was able to get 5 more kills and almost had nuke :D

i do want to add that you should not trust the shot simulation/armor analysis because more often than not it will show something that is irregular for a live match

For example one time i barely missed my shot on the edge of a tank using HEATFS But gaijin just ruined this poor mans life and made my round spall infinitely inside their tank despite it being a miss on the outside

Then i viewed the exact same shot with the analysis through the server replay and it showed it behaving as i would expect it to and did 0 damage
So thats just one of my own examples of the analysis being different from what actually happens in the match

The round hit the roof armor which decreased its velocity enough to bounce off the turret.
Simple.

Nothing more satisfying than killing those 12.0 up-armored Leopard 2A7 and Strv122Bs with the 152mm apfsds. I actually carry full ammo on this thing and split 20/10 ap/he often feels it wasn’t even enough.

for me it was same as it is in video, his APFSDS only made my engine yellow
