Just making sure. Since when i hear Javelin gets rather confusing.
Welcome to Britain.
Where everything is named the same.
Javelin, Javelin and Javelin are 3 different things
So is the Gr1, Gr1 and Gr1. They are 3 different aircraft
Also cant forget the F3 or F3.
:P
Two missiles (one SAM one ATGM) one missile carrier.
3 ground attack aircraft (one VTOL, one interdictor, one combined trainer)
Two fighters (one from a carrier based platform and the other from an interdictor platform)
I dont actually know if the Phantom F3 ever operated from a carrier
You do realise what the Phantom F.3 was yes?
Besides the Phantom was originally a naval aircraft. The F4H-1 = F-4A.
F-110A = F-4C
The Phantom F3 was also called the Phantom F4J(UK) and was purchased in 1984 from the US and were made up of Ex-USN F-4Js. They were assigned to the RAF and not the FAA (which operated the Sea Harrier from the Carriers) as a stop gap until the Tornado ADVs entered service. Being retired in 1991.
Whilst of course they operated from US Carriers whilst in service with the USN I dont think the Phantom "F3"s ever did.
I know this will tick off the Germans but this wasn’t even suggested to their government but the Canadian one only.
The:
I like how it looks.
Spoiler
That is the Primary requirement for any vehicle suggestion. If it makes Germany mad, it is far more likely to be approved :P
Yes but you didn’t mention that when I called the Tornado F.3 an interdictor based platform.
I missed that, though technically it was.
I know that the DAS Dazzler system was mounted to an LAV III but I haven’t been able to find photos of the C2 or ADATS mounted with it.
Have you got any pictures of the system? Like what does it look like?
Isn’t it the one they used on the Abrams i could be wrong
