Previously, flares were introduced in night battles to help vehicles that lacked the NVD modification. Now that night battles have become optional, flares will only cause interference to vehicles with NVDs, so it’s time to remove them.

Yep, agreed, the flares make “night” battles pointless. They are just as bright as day, except more annoying because sometimes it goes dark for a few seconds
