Back in 2012 Russia tested a number of Centuro platforms, of of them was the Freccia OWS 30, which is coming to the Italian tech-tree this update.
Adding vehicles that were tested to other tech-trees is nothing new for War Thunder. For example Sweden has a T-80U and Mi-28 that they tested. And unlike Sweden, the Freccia OWS 30 would add something new to the USSR tech-tree. That being fire and forget / top attack ATGMs (Spikes).
Russia can get the Kornet-D (firing Kornet-EMs), which is essentially fire-and-forget, although IIRC they work a little differently to regular FNF missiles
We as in players that plays Soviet Union or as a community in general can instead push forward unique vehicles but with similarities in terms of gameplay, it is completely understandable that half of the community will support the copy and pasted thing as a way to justify no gate keeping of content for one nation and line-up diversity and the other that will justify that it’s pointless and it prevents uniqueness between nations.
Soviet Union don’t share the fire-and-forget weaponry installed in ground vehicles and as for Russia it is at the very early stages, as for any other post-Sovietic Republic it’s socially denied, apparently Soviet Union can’t have other minor nations represented (Soviet Union = Russian Federation), nonsense apart, I wouldn’t oppose however there are some others wheeled vehicles with autocannons (e.g. K-17) that could be considered, and if you really want, create a suggestion for it, see also Centauro I for USSR tech tree.
its not a place to ask as its higly biased against adding to USSR. So as much as im against copypastes, seeing the SU-30 and BMP-3 given away, im all in for addition of all trialed wheelers to USSR. Only to justify all other trials
