Can Blacklisting players do more?

have done that countless times does not work, even with replays …

Best you can do is avoid playing during the time frames you most frequently encounter them until the reports work

Also try reporting through the forum with the evidence

No. Reporting on the forum is not working. There are clear ways to report players depending on their behavior, nothing else:

Yea, no… You’ve not thought about how that would work out to be honest.

All you’d end up with in this instance is someone literally blacklisting every good player they see so they end up not facing them.

Supposedly they’ve already tried using the replay function to send reports but the results were nada, so they just have to go with my first advice

why isn’t the server replay automatically brought in, when reporting in game for teamkills etc?
As it stands we can report in game teamkilling and that being useless (as the most accesable way to report someone), is weird to me

no because if you block a player and you are playing America with a overlapping br bracket. The matchmaker has to cater to YOU. And you are not special enough for that. If even a couple of people did this que times would ever longer.

What? Chance of seeing the same player again is slim to none, no point doing all these lol

…meaning that they have not been processed yet or could not provide enough evidence for a bannable offense.

No, because that’s absolutely useless. The official reporting channel are the one and only method to do this that will be considered.

Sadly, I do not know. Note that the ingame reporting function existed a long time before Server Replay and its reporting function existed.

But, and I know I keep repeating myself, and will continue to do so:

  • Chat or name related offenses → in game report
  • Gameplay related offenses (TK, suspected cheating,…) → server replay report

This depends on you game mode, server choice and preferred BRs.

It is not uncommon to run multiple times into the same players in subsequent matches over days and weeks - if both of you prefer to play in the same BR slot and have similar patterns.

muh civility.

thanks for the gold kind stranger!

I agree, it should be on the game. If I blocked someone on CoD, that means I never see them again. The same should be applied to War Thunder. I blocked the guy, I never want to see him in my match again.

If he tries to queue into my match in Sim, he gets a “Server could not connect, please try again” message.
If he tries to queue into Realistic or Arcade with me, guess what, we get two separate matches. Easy as that.

In most modes (ie; not naval or sim) your chances of getting the same player again in any one match is small. Probably not intentionally, just the queuing system akin to shuffling cards.

Now there’s a fun new way to troll people… = /

With the low player numbers in Sim you basically would need to activate only a few players, maybe squadron colleagues, to block access to a whole game mode for a player you do not like, for whatever real or imagined reason.

Cool, you got the point. Blocking someone means I never see them again. What’s your point?

You do realise it works both ways, right? The blocked guy can make a server, and they don’t harass him. Win win for everyone.

Read again what I wrote please.

With the power to even with a small number of players block practically all access to individual players, the players can easily sabotage players they target.

That’s a level of self justice that would be very easy to abuse.

But change the system, ok: Maybe in sim display a warning if one is joining a session with a blacklisted player, so one can chose if one wants to join the same match.

But players having control over whether the other can join or not, that’s quite a different thing, very easily abused…

this is a small amount of kills, this can be done easily without cheating

“10ks 15Assist 0Death” it’s easy to achieve it. look at those pro player on youtube

Everyone knows streamers get special treatment. Streamers bring the game money, money makes game makers ignore cheaters.

If you somehow managed to piss someone off so much that they are physically unable to join a random match, maybe you should look into why so many people hate them.
