Camping behind spawn

Why tf is it allowed that the enemy can camp behind our spawn ? Two rats were camping behind a hill, the spawn protection timer is to short to turn around the tank or the turret to get them. Everything inline/in-height of the spawn zone should be red zone.

lots of maps look like they were designed by very incompetent people who did no thinking at all as to how areas can be abused or how sightlines work. Maginot line also has this issue on the west side where both teams can flank west hard, go all the way around, and end up behind your spawn IN COVER ready to kill 10 tanks

Every map apart from pradesh that was released post 2019 has been horrid (including reworks)

Old sands of sinai, mozdok, that other desert map were so much better. They had their flaws but they were so much better

A couple of 3 things. Map design for ground leaves a lot to be desired in WT, especially for the higher tier vehicles. It appears to be the focus of the game designers recently is to pretty up current maps and add Easter eggs that no one asked for. I have no problem updating the graphics to add a more realistic battlefield but I’d prefer the focus to be on designing new maps that work for various styles of tank gameplay, long range, CQC and flanking within a single map. Other combat games seem to be able to do this. Finally, No Map should ever have a single spawn location. Ever.

As for spawn camping behind enemy spawn locations, some of your teammates left your flanks exposed allowing them to get to that location. Also, no one appears to have taken to the skies to eliminate them. Enemies close to spawn locations should always be a priority for CAS. I’d also say that artillery might have been helpful depending on how close they were to spawn. WT should allow players to be able to target enemies with artillery closer to friendly spawns than they currently allow. Finally, the addition of minefields, static AI anti-tank units and the ability to call in a precision air strike would be welcomed.

WT has no problem adding copy paste vehicles with anime characters for $80 a vehicle, but when it comes to giving the player base well designed maps for various play styles within a single map, WT is MIA.
