Camera randomly switching to nearby targets

I’ve been recently having the same issue as this person on Reddit:

https://www.reddit.com/r/Warthunder/comments/15zdk7s/my_camera_toggles_on_other_targets_when_im_aiming/

On my end, it started when I switched to Linux a few days ago but the person on Reddit was using Windows all along (doesn’t recall how the issue was solved, sadly).

So far, nothing I’ve tried worked. Did anyone here have the same problem and how did you fix it?

What is bound to this control?

Because does the behaviour that that Reddit user showed.

Currently, nothing. I completely removed the keybind everywhere, not just in aircraft controls.

I play AB Air mostly, and I think the game will set you to a target(usually the nearest red guy it seems like) if you do not select your own after a certain length of time. At least that is what I have noticed over the years. I don’t really mind as I can change it at any time, and in a lot of cases, the nearest red guy is gonna be your biggest threat anyway. But I dunno about it switching randomly unless you just got a kill or lost “lock” some other way. And that is the only time I really notice it, when ever I, or someone else kills the target I had locked.
Perhaps not having anything bound to a key for that might be causing the game to do weird stuff. I use MMB pressed down to lock and MB4(by my thumb) to check on where my locked target might be . . comes in very handy in a dogfight and some skill to use it properly . .
I hope you get it sorted . . that would drive me nuts pretty fast . . . lol

Update:

It’s not even switching to targets. I’ve had a match where I was far away from everybody and the camera appeared to briefly switch to my contrails. I still have no idea why.

It could be a Linux issue.
My WT (on Linux) has been doing this since I started playing. It seems to be related to fast mouse movements/fast button clicks.

I reported the bug here:

There’s also a similar report here:

This is basically how it happens:
