Never said they didn’t. Just that they aren’t pay to win if they can be obtained for free, at best they are “pay to progress” as you obtain them faster by paying.
The fact you use they can be obtained through crates or premium currency they block thermals are a nightmare when you only have a second to identify what it is you are facing. And you don’t see that as a clear advantage?
Go to Statshark and look at how other light tanks are performing in kill/death and kill/spawn and see how that looks first. There are Several contemporaries that perform better.
some are the french F5A premium is same br as similar F5A with better engines making it way way better thats just one example thats all :D

Well yeah, in the same way the opposite is true. There are going to be variants where the tech tree contemporaries are better.
