I believe i can do WAY better in anything that isn’t F-16…
It’s like driving an electric car and i hate electric cars.
You know what i see very good (and i expected it) …i don’t have it to play with though?
F-18…
EDIT: I played first time my Thai39C. Exactly like i imagined, i did WAY better than with F-16A Netz.
I’m not saying what’s better because they play differently.
I quite like the cold war jets, sabres and mig15s. It feels like mid tier props just faster. You can still get into those amazing dog fights where youre barely getting guns on target while spiraling around each other.
Late props gets shafter to early jets and i dont like the get boom and zoomed unless someone is stupid enough to take a fight with you gameplay. Same with early jets, theyre too slow.
4.3-5.7 and 8.0-9.0 are what i really enjoy playing. Even then you dont get those amazing dog fights regularly, your whole team chases the first plane that gets spotted and just give away their advantage or your whole team sticks behind you shooting over you at the guy youre engaging, so you have to try and hit him, while avoiding friendly fire.
I sometimes feel like this always happens to me
I don’t know how, but in most games I end up with multiple people chasing me, no matter how much I avoid the middle of the map
Making it a gamemode is probably the way to go, maybe even with actual matchmaker that goes lower than 12.7, maybe starting around 9.7/10.0 (anything earlier is a bit irrelevant for just not having missiles anyways).
It’s a nice change of pace alongside normal battles, amazing for stock grinds and from Gaijins perspective can get more players out of custom battles and into the “mainline” gamemodes which generally benefits the game, so I really hope this is successful enough for them to keep it around at least on a weekly basis.
The mode is fun, the rewards are good, there are a few issues but not many.

Feedback:
Playable area is good but player concentration is high. This leads to furball, 3rd partying, and not many 1v1 opportunities. Consider widening the spawn area.
Returning to base is inconvenient and time consuming, especially for aircraft with low ammo capacity. Consider adding in-flight reload similar to air arcade, but with a timer that scales according to ammunition pool. Low ammo count = fast reload
