Bullet Hell Returns Today, With Changes!

But instead now you will have tons of people with low level crews which is a massive disadvantage as well. Do we really need to lock out the paying people from playing the fun gamemodes? Ive never had any problems with premium players at all. I dont understand how its this negative to you

I had maxxed out crews for both tanks and planes on multiple slots before I even reached rank 7. I don’t understand why people are complaining about crew levels here.

You must have played a lot of air i assume? Either way the grind is horribly long. Why have such an elitist attitude towards people that just want to enjoy the game? War Thunder is known for its insanely long and terrible grind. I really dont understand this hate towards these players. Most people have jobs and commitments in real life that makes them unable to grind. Warthunder is a game at the end of the day that is supposed to be fun entertainment.

Correct me if I’m wrong, but aren’t crew points directly tied to RP gains?

idk, I think I’m a pretty average player but I only have one crew at level 48 despite being rank 7

I believe they are but ARB games are a lot quicker making it a lot easier to get crew points in ARB. Grinding crew purely by playing ground takes a lot longer

The lag is impossible. In 2 internet connections even…
Wasting my time seriously.

Napalm hell mode where cannons have 0 ammo, any munitions besides napalm are banned and even planes collisions are disabled

suddenly the average skill level of arb players goes into the ceiling
(because most current arb players will be gone to that bombing mode)

Ok i’m gonna go out on a limb here, feel free to disagree but this is my opinion on how bullet hell should be fixed/tweaked.

If you like my suggestions feel free to upvote the post.

Firstly, I think most of the community agrees that they prefer the system from the previous playtest that allowed 3 respawns on any vehicle with only one vehicle slot needed to participate on the event.

Second, I suggest upping the respawn amount from 3 to 4 and increasing the number of kills to win to 30 from 20. The reasoning behind this is even in the last playtest matches were very short and sometimes ended very quickly within minutes of the match starting.

Third, I suggest making the maps a small amount larger.
Currently there is very little room on the maps to drag people away and actually fight them for any length of time without getting 3rd partied, increasing the map size by a small amount can help with this as you would have more room to drag people away from the furball and fight them in 1v1’s or 1v2’s.

Fourth, In my opinion I think that just using backups for the ability to respawn like in Air Arcade defeats the point of this mode. In the previous playtest you could spawn in by paying an amount of SL that I believe was equal to the vehicles repair cost.

I know that not all people have a lot of sl to spend on spawing in but at the same time people who primarily play Air RB also probably dont have many backups either.

So here I suggest a middle ground, allow respawns by both backups and by paying the vehicles repair cost as it was in the first playtest. That way people can choose what they wish to use to spawn in.

I would ask that gaijin take these suggestions seriously and please consider them.

I would hate to see the guns only top tier mode we all enjoy vanish into thin air like some of the other modes because I think it still has huge potential, but simply needs to be tweaked in the right areas.

So let me get this straight
For a fun arcade gamemode purely designed for being to just have some silly simple fun you force a two vehicle minimum to ensure people dont one spawn or even two spawn in a non competitive enviornment
But in realistic ground with actual consequences for one spawn premium players who constantly ruin the experience of one of your central modes, its perfectly fine to buy a premium and leave after duing once. That makes sense…how? Exactly?

Amazing changes forcing players in AIR RB mode to field 2 crews with 2 8.0+ planes in order to participate. I guess we had it too good with a for fun game mode we could bring our 1 plane from another tech tree in to to have a good time, you had to shut down huh? disappointed and will not be playing

That’s not the worst part tbh, the main issue is that it’s super unbalanced due to BRs not being adjusted.
That’s what made me drop the event, can’t do crap with anything other than the few op turnfighters

you just 3rd party people all day every day twice on tuesdays. The people stopping to dogfight are the people who die. Too many people, everyone is too fast and if you stop, you die. choose something fast, with a good cannon… and EEGS!

I don’t have anything with EEGS… F-8E(FN) SOON tm tho

I totally agree with this

I’m playing stock F-4F with not aced/expertised crew, MiG 19…stock not aced/not expertised etc and Hunter F58A not aced/expertise and stock as well.
I’ll try to grind some mods in the event in general.
I don’t expect to go good when in half a thought of changing direction is g-lock…but that’s the fun.

Anyways, what’s the problem with adding it as a permanent game mode?
Air battles are the same since the moment of their existence, even that new mode with fewer player count almost doesn’t work.
This is a great chance to do something good, permanently for air players

why ? + a crew lock on a gamemode supposed to be fun ?

and id like to know why the vulcan that has more than 400 ammo takes only 20 seconds to rearm compared to the defa that have 254 and need 33 seconds ? on top of that my crew on the f18 is level 38 with no exp on the reload speed and my mirage crew is level 75, just give the us jets infinite ammo atp

edit, after playing with my su27, i saw that its 40 seconds to reload the 30mm, like whats the point ?
