Bugs that need to be prioritized thread

bvm has similar armor to t-90, but compared to competition they are far superior, from my experience, my round sometimes just doesnt do anything when i fire at them but from the side they aren’t to bad to kill. But russia becomes op when it comes to helis and cas

aww yes cause plugging the breech of one plugs the breech of the other. makes perfect sense.

What I find is strange is you berate someone for listing bugs that massively hinder vehicles in a priority buglist thread, and then don’t even list any bugs yourself!

Yet again, you obviously don’t know how the gun works.

IT IS A DUAL GUN SYSTEM, think of it like the gun on the 2S6 or GSh-23L.

In no world T-80BVM has similar armor to T-90M, the competition you’re referring to is what? Strv 122 B+, Leopard 2A7V? Both have good armor with good mobility.

Russia is only good when you reach the end of the line on a tech tree, using the most complained vehicle I’ve seen recently for CAS: Su-25SM3; it’s a end of the line vehicle, what’s the reason of grinding something for getting mid weaponry, same applies to helicopters with Mi-28MN and Ka-52.

While counterparts has access to longer weapons in early BRs and it’s more accessible than grinding a whole tech tree, using the A-10A Early as example with the AGM-65B, you can easily outrange SPAAs like ZKR 9A35M2 and 2S6 (with 9M311).

Uhh no. YOU don’t understand how this works. welding 2 things together don’t mirror damage

I literally only play US. Why would I comment about other nation’s vehicles if I have no experience with them?

russian midtier-hightier isnt op? Is-4m?, object-279?, bmd-4?, is-6?, is-7?, pt-76-57?, 2s25m is really good, object 775 is really good, and bt-5 is pretty strong as a reserve lol.

The strela is a very op anti air for russia and even though a-10s may out range strela and 2s6, they wont ever fire at max range, and its hard to dodge there missiles, and strela and 2s6 are far above the competition of other sams(dont even get started on pansir)

t-80bvm has higher mobility and reload which make it crazy op at its br, even with less armor than t-90m its armor is very good at its br and its easily top 3 tanks rn

That’s fair, I’m sorry.

All good, appreciate that.

You just described Type 10. Fun things about minor nations in War Thunder is people tend to forget about them and Gaijin doesn’t care, but when there’s a high tier premium sales, they come in the waves, and the fun party is ended.

thats very true lol, minor nations get so overlooked , israel and italy for example get hella overlooked by gajin because there premiums sell less than usa and russia for example

I think clickbaits are one of the most sold tanks, I usually see 4+ per match. It’s crazy that they would not fix the turret ring bug Abrams has. I think new content is all the devs care about

I’m considering top tier, mid tier may have good-OP vehicles, but most of them are not accessible or people just ignore them during the grinding.

IS-4M: Least good heavy tank in this BR (7.7 in general);
Object 279: Can’t sustain HEAT rounds, I’ve killed a lot with it;
BMD-4: It’s currently at 9.3, which is a reasonable BR for such mobile vehicle, it would be higher it if had APFSDS;
IS-6: Worthless;
PT-76-57: Even a M2A2 can knockout it, very thin armor;
2S25M: Glass cannon, barely sustain 12,7 mm rounds, now imagine against 25 mm and 30 mm auto cannons;
Object 775: It has a huge weakspot in the gunner sights, also, it can’t lose a crew member to be considered destroyed, also, it’s not a huge problem, as I mentioned, vehicles tend to be ignored during the grinding, it’s a uncommon vehicle to see, not a problem;
BT-5: M2A2.

I’ve encontered myself against all of those vehicles, they’re not a problem, at what I can see, despite my username, profile picture and majority of vehicles in USSR, I know what’s to fight against USSR vehicles.

You also could consider the M1128 Stryker MGS depression bug while the turret is pointed to the sides; I don’t know the exactly values, but it’s more than -5°. Not to mention 120 mm and 105 mm missing ammunition.

It’s not “welding” two L/70’s together, they completely meshed the internals of them.

it’s still 2 different breeches with their own firing mechanisms that don’t effect the other in any way

The twin 40mm mount used in the US M19 and M42 is not a dual gun system. It is just a physical mount for two 40mm guns on a single turret ring and elevation gear. The systems are mechanically separated and a malfunction in one gun breech will not stop the other from functioning.

I’m not even sure where you would get the idea that the two weapons are mechanically connected, there exist single 40mm mounts and mounts with many more than just two guns.

Far as I can tell, Bofors never even experimented with gast principle operation for their guns, ever.

It’s just a fairly simple breech loaded 40mm gun with a recoil system to automatically load a new round.

This guy makes a great 3D animation showing the internal function of the 40mm/60 gun.

It’s literally called “40mm Dual gun system M2”…

You also may not notice, but in the video you showed gives the exact reason it’s a “dual gun system” the firing mechanism on the starboard side has to be inside or next to the other gun system. That is unless the US recreates the l/60 with a reversed system.

(You also probably didn’t realize I’m the one of the biggest Swedish tech nerd on the Forum behind a few actual Swedish players)

Chaparral has not had its smokeless motor for like 10 months. I bet this is also why it recently went down in br. The missile is horrible without it.

If russian cas is op, US cas is game breaking.
