I have had this problem for ages now and I don’t know if it’s only me but the premium cammo for the bf109k4 ‘Papagei Staffel’ has a glitch - when you look from inside the cockpit on the wings they look damaged all the time even when your aircraft is fine:
Can anyone fix this or tell me how to fix this as it’s been like this for years now.
It is normal, after all it is a parrot (Papagei) camo and parrots sometimes pull out their feathers.
Idk but it looks like the flying dutchman

This one is clearly stressed as that amount of lost plumage is not healthy.
But we see in the screenshot that it can still fly, so it is OK.
-First thing to try is to do a file check for the game to see if there are any issues with the games files.
-Second thing to check is if you have any custom camouflages installed and temporarily move them out of the install folder to see if that fixes the issue.
-Third thing to do is bug report it.
You can bug report it here (just search a bit first so that you don’t report something that is already reported and known about): (Gaijin.net // Issues)
A guide on how to report bugs can be found here: ([Navigation] Technical Knowledge Base | War Thunder Wiki)
Thank you for the tip.
Yes I have checked and someone did report this a few time years ago but gaijin doesn’t care as clearly it is not a russian plane. Russian they would fix this in a week.
Sigh… No, it’s more like it’s only visual and only effect a very small number of players that use that specific plane with that specific camo and ONLY in cockpit mode. There are going to be more important bugs to fix than that one likely most of the time (bugs that actually effect gameplay and are widespread).
You can however send a message to one of the Technical moderators to ask if there are any updates on the specific report that you found (or to have it looked at to begin with if it hasen’t been answered already). You can find all the teams and their members listed here: ( Who is who and Reporting Procedure )
