I do the backwards sacrificial engine strat with the TOG and can be very good against noobs that are only used to APHE one shotting no matter where the penetration is.
The Chaffee is undertiered even without weird damage soaking issues. why tf is a light tank with the same firepower ok at the same BR as an initial sherman
I will not accept this Chaffee slander! And likely because it has zero armor and can be 50cal’d. It’s a great rat though.

It’s not a Puma that has zero armor on the sides.
I killed Chaffees in my Chaffee with 50cal before. Can absolutely be done. And yes the Puma has way worse armor, I’m not arguing that. And doesn’t the M18 have like 40+mm pen on the M24, and is faster too?

You can’t say IS-2 1944 because it isn’t really.
I find it sluggish. Does not move like a light tank - it’s underpowered. Was not winning many races offroad against medium tanks.
For my 4.0 US lineup I swapped it out for a m5A1 Stuart. Sure it gives up a lot of firepower, but the mobility and speed getting to Caps first seems worth it.
Chaffee is slow to accelerate, but it’s definitely fast. It’s much better than the Shermans

Sure, you can do that. But the Chaffee can do all of that and is genuinely dangerous to many vehicles it faces.
