British Weapon Systems - Technical data and discussion

The CRV seems okay so far, still going through the stock grind fun.

My three main gripes so far have to be lack of unmanned turret, the thing feels very slow and sluggish and the spikes are frustrating.
The usual problem of spikes acquiring a lock and refusing to fire and more annoyingly just refusing to acquire lock at all. The positioning of the launcher and presumably how the optics are laid out prevent it from firing whilst turret down which sucks.

Used to the vilkas being able acquire locks with its spikes from the bloody binos while totally turret down.

Okay? Are you kidding? It should have 200 rounds ready to fire and additional rounds stowed, not 360 in some fake “ready-to-shoot” setup; they’re on the belt, but there’s a mini-reload once the first block runs out. Spall liners are completely missing: in the turret, the main hull, and the multifunction block. The multifunction block isn’t modeled correctly; there’s only a single bulkhead (the one from the main block), and the second one is missing. The APS system doesn’t work on the flanks. You don’t know what you’re talking about.

You’re too emotional.
I said it was okay so far, not great, not terrible. It seems like it will be an okay vehicle when spaded. Faults included.
Calling me pro-russian is pretty funny though.

I just can’t get into it. I’m about half way done spading it and it’s just a bit… Meh.

I can’t get along with the AHEAD for anti-drone. The spikes are fine, but you barely get any, and the rest of the vehicle is the size of a flat block. The gun also seems really hit and miss for anti-tank work

Additional spikes would be nice if it came with the ability to fire whilst turret down like the vilkas.
I genuinely do not know why they refuse to lock sometimes even when I have a clear LOS to the target from even the gunners view and the targets entire turret is showing.
Jank.

Yeah, ive had that too

I’m sorry, but this is what you wrote and is simply incorrect; the vehicle is flawed. Furthermore, you didn’t list any of the shortcomings I pointed out. The issues I raised cold be difficult to fix due to the game’s physics engine; what i listed are modeling errors that affect the vehicle’s survivability.

This might be getting fixed this major.

You seem to have a flawed grasp of language.

Nothing I said there is invalidated by your complaints about features that it does not have yet. I am judging the vehicle based on the merits it currently has, I can’t judge it based on something that it doesn’t and possibly will never have.

The vehicle is okay. Mediocre.

We have a different idea of what “okay” means. I could say the same about “your” language gaps. If you judge the tank as it stands now, there is even less reason for it to be considered “okay,” given that it doesn’t even measure up to its German counterpart. In any case, if this is just a linguistic misunderstanding, I apologize.

Its a lot better than the Desert Warrior which we had for a loooooooong time at that BR :D

Doesnt take much for a Brit main to consider something “okay” when the bar is usually very low :D

Apparently since you seem to think “okay” means the best thing since sliced bread.

If you judge the tank as it stands now, there is even less reason for it to be considered “okay,” given that it doesn’t even measure up to its German counterpart.

Or, get this. If the other version is notably better than it then that version might be better than okay, but “decent” or “good”.

Doesn’t seem to be a massive number of differences anyway outside of slightly more hp/t, superior launcher position and spall liners in return for losing APS.

I’m not sure about the bugs the APS has but so far it’s been intercepting quite a lot of munitions for me.

I play almost british tanks and for me is not “okay” :P

Spikes are frustrating at basically every BR ime. I was using it at top tier but the difference is negligible really as you can’t pen much from the front 30mm full stop. The ammo getting hit and just completely ruined was probably the single most irritating problem I’ve had with a ground vehicle in WT.

This shows me that you don’t play the CRV much, because it doesn’t intercept any missiles from the side. You can test it yourself with a test drive. Only frontals one work.

Now if you took the time to read my initial post you would have noticed I said I am in the process of spading it.
Great deduction sherlock.

Try locking onto the target and then rotating the turret slightly to the right or left, depending on the enemy tank’s position. The resulting extra angle seems to yield better results; I often manage to destroy 4 out of 4 targets using this little trick.

Honestly i don’t know why i’m answering you… you talk without try things and You insist you’re right. Apparently, apologizing wasn’t the right choice. You don’t deserve them.

How can I not be trying the CRV when I already stated I’m playing it and in the process of spading it.
You’re not making any sense at all mate.

the inconsistency is really frustrating too, sometimes i can lock a sliver of turret showing over a ridge, other times i can’t lock a tank sitting out in the open
