British Weapon Systems - Technical data and discussion

for now i am purely looking at performance.

in short ranges, 5 to 8km, Both Alarm and LD-10 seemes to be meta, considering that both have insane speed and number of them being carried. ( 900 m/s for ld10 and 810 m/s for alarm at impact to a 5km target)

  • as you can see, both missile out perform the kh31 in short ranges speed. same goes for the detection of the missile, one does a hard pull while the other goes straight.

The motor is wrong, so probably subject to change

subject to change ofc, any new of it being implemented on the eft ?

Only that the report for 6x ALARM was accepted

idk if it’s completely true but ALARM top speed is Mach 2 IRL and this is probably for a high altitude launch. So expect it to be the slowest at sea level

For RP3, I wrote a report for Seafires early. Is there anyone able to have a push?

Seafire F mk XVII and LF MK.III are missing rockets

Eh?

Devs added more rocket loadouts to the 1st gen Harriers, but only gave the Sea Harriers the option to use single pods on the inner stations

[DEV] Harrier GR.1/GR.3 lack single pod rockets on inner pylon

Even though perhaps the most familiar photo ever taken of Harrier GR.3, shows exactly that

I mean we also won’t get the the parachute I guess

The old trunnion model which was just an armour piece has been replaced by a new custom trunnion module.

At the same time they redid the trunnion and expanded the trunnion pins, filling in quite a bit of empty space.

As Teaz showed this improves the mantlet protection quite a lot, although it does still have weak spots.

Although we have gained armour, i think the addition of a trunion makes the mantlet jammable right?

No?

I’ve not seen it jam other tank’s traverse

This doesn’t happen on any tanks ingame, unless they’ve changed something this patch then it shouldn’t do that on the CR2.

it’s luckily just a buff in this case, although it does still underperform.

give 600mm armour breech back

hmm, it was planned, swear i remember something saying it would block vertical traverse

Anyone else struggling to actually fire the ALARM’s in the dev server? They need a radar lock apparently but that’s a bit tricky to do with the GR.4 only having a sea search radar.

As they say there they seem to want to add them to all vehicles before making any changes, which hasn’t yet happened.

Currently they don’t, but this seems to infer in the future they may. However, this would be a blanket change to every MBT not just the Challenger 2s.

They arent current modeled as ARM.

They are reskinned AMRAAMs.

So you can lock onto an aircraft using ACM and fire them like an AMRAAM.

So at the moment, we have the lowest BR AMRAAM slingers in the game (on dev)

The funny thing is that they actually outperform the AMRAAM currently, they have much better pull from my testing

It’s a shame they won’t stay like this
