British Weapon Systems - Technical data and discussion

Eh, i just cant react quick enough to correct my aim when firing at the side of tanks with the 40mm. Mainly due to the lack of vision due to all the effects going on, becomes a little much for me. The 30mm on the other hand is just so punchy for what it is. That combined with the lack of survivability against autocannons in the ajax makes me just play the base warrior with the armour package.

I have the opposite issue, the low RoF and my rubbish aim means I tend to miss anything vital. the higher RoF means I can spray and pray a little :D

Yeah… though the Ajax should be better… but alas… Gaijin

Torque converter to improve mobility when?

(Gaijin needs me to find the non-existent gear ratios for Ajax before they will accept a report, as clearly they can’t apply the Torque Converter to their own fabricated Ratios)

Damn you RENK for not making gear ratios public

I think this is more of an issue in regards to the RARDEN hitting like an absolute freight train compared to other autocannons than the 40 being weak.

I think it is one of the few shells not on the formula thingy for pen

Other way round, other auto cannons should pack as much punch as a RARDEN for equivalent and better autocannons. the 30mm bmp cannon should not be doing similar damage to an ajax’s 40mm.

For some stupid reason autocannon APDS does more damage ingame than autocannon APFSDS…

it’s part of the reason the BMPTs damage is so insane

And the Type 89’s damage. 35mm APDS absolutely shred on it.

Yep, seen it, but thank you.

To me it sounds like they’ll be extremely selective and move any that do get them up in BR quite a bit.

Though doesnt really help the 7.Xs that have to suffer through APDS

Churchill mk7 to 5.3/.7 when… I hope they dont do something like that but knowing gaijin they’ll ruin my 4.7 lineup.
