i was originally going for the carousel, and had aimed for it, but his turn and related speed loss threw my aim off, making it hit is UFP instead of just behind it as i was aiming for
there was a second around the corner, i wanted to see if i could get them both at once but went to shoot the UD before it went out of sight
It’s because shrapnel generated depends on residual penetration, it just about penetrates the mantlet so the residual penetration is small leading to basically no spall.
Having a real issue with killing Russian tanks with the AJAX unless you are firing on them long in advance and their gun is the wrong way round you are 90% of the time going to die before you do any meaningful damage.
Breach shots and Barrels the BVM and 90M just shrug this off.
Front road wheel, turret ring are 50/50 shots
Ammo carousel sure you may turn it black but that doesn’t detonate the ammo or stop turret traverse or even the gun fires that one round that will kill or cripple you.
Now M1s easy to kill from the side and the front same with Leclerc and Leopard 2A7 I can breach a Leopard faster than I can a T-90M.
Something is up with Russian armour right now and the modules health.
I’ve had okay success if flanking them, and shot them at 90 degrees, but yeah, their breaches are way too resistant

Exactly the carousel offers too much armour to the ammo. Instead of it being the inherrent design weakness.
Meanwhile even Pantsir burst will cook a CR2s ammo.
Yeah, Ive had that happen more than a few times. Though that is in part because the Challenger 2s turret is buggy mess vs rapid fire APHE

Brimstones damage is very inconsistent right now with 3 needed to take out the BUK Radar.
Ive got it unlocked but I cant be bothered to finish spading it at the moment, but I still dont see the point of trying to use it in GRB .
We dont have a top tier MBT, our top tier SAM is still bugged and the Spice-250s just look clunky to try and use with the Mach 1 release limit and being glide bombs, meaning they need to be dropped from alt. I just dont get how they are meant to be even close to equal to the KH-38.
Spice doesn’t necessarily need to be dropped from alt, they have Incredible flight profiles, but since nerf to any “low HE” munitions, they do fuck all. Had direct hits on pantsirs and buks with spice bombs failing to kill, even disable em.
Still, not gunna be hitting 30km when dropped from 500ft like KH-38 can.
and yeah, that nerf sucks. Had a light tank survive 2 1000lb the other day landing a few metres away
Yeah, of course not, you can fling em a few klicks out just from a slight gain in altitude, but certainly they far, far subpar to the russian wunderwaffen.
I’d happily cut my spice count in half if they perform anywhere close to KH38’s, especially now as they are nerfed and in GRB costs a fortune in SP now too.
